Awesome!!!....its the cruise we hit Diamond on...so I wont be able to hang out in the suite/diamond lounges but I am sure we will run into each other at some point!...We are looking forward to our first Xmas cruise vacation!

I think it used to be much close to sail date, as I have booked these rooms often.
 
However, my next 2 cruises were GTY and assigned cabins were done about a month ago...so 8-10 mths out!

that may somewhat hurt some of the bars/restaurants along that area...that offer WIFI to paying guests?......

The check in times are total BS. If they can snag a few suckers that actually follow the rules then maybe it’s more controlled chaos on boarding day. This is literally day 1 of a vacation and to arrive anytime after 11am is throwing away your money. 

They added kites that look like hawks around the island
 

Usually you can ask at Guest Services or you can ask your TA to add an airport transfer to the second leg of your cruise.  Out of Port of Miami they will offer shuttles to both Miami and Ft. Lauderdale airports.  I have never used them, so I can't say what the cost would be but usually if there's more than one person involved, it's cheaper and more time efficient to get an Uber/Lyft after the cruise.

not to resurrect a dead thread but we just got express boarding for oasis out of miami today!!

Suites can board earlier and all that matters is that is says suite on the boarding pass. 
I believe the express barding is for those who do everything prior to boarding, so if you had picture, passport, etc. in, then you have a better chance of getting this express boarding.

I identify as 70 plus, so I hope I have a compass everyday in my room..lol.
 
But seriously..i have zero interest in trying to look at that stuff on my phone....that's one thing i enjoy about vacation..not bringing my phone with me everywhere

Agree...I think it's pretty stupid for the suite sun decks on all ships to not include the same drink privileges as in the suite lounge.

Sky Suite guest. VERY Upset.
Included drinks are available to us from 11am to 11pm in the suite LOUNGE but NOT sitting on the suite sun deck next door. WHAT? I paid almost $12,000 for 2 people and a 2 year old and you make me walk - wet - to the lounge to get a glass of wine or charge me $15 at the pool bar that’s only 100 feet away? 
This is a TERRIBLE idea for Sky Level guests. Ugggg…what happened to common sense?

That's crazy..I wouldn't take that chance..even if the flight was free!!!
 
Arriving at the airport at 6:25pm.....if the flight is on time.....disembark....get luggage......get shuttle/ride to the port...its probably 8pm..then you have to go through security.then check in..then get on board.....
 
I wouldn't try that in a million years..
