I think they are more inclined to make it Suite only and ban Pinnacles.  Or adopt a limit on Pinnacles like they do on elite heavy sailings, something like 2 visits max per week.  Problem solved.
The Royal Suite program generates a lot of revenue and is in place partly because of the competition.  Eliminating a suite restaurant would be a huge competitive disadvantage.
It's only been around since 2016 so it's new.  Three years is hardly a long time so they'll likely adapt it before getting rid of it.

This is the same sale that has gone on the entire summer. So, actually, it isn't a Labor Day sale. Just a "sucker is born everyday" sale! ?

We’re on Navigator June 1-5, 2020 which has 2 stops at CocoCay.  I just got a 2 day ticket deal in cruise planner for $79.99 TOTAL per person, which is what they’re also charging for 1 day on the same cruise.  I’m guessing this is available for all the cruises with 2 stops at CocoCay .....

I haven’t noticed any free snakes so far but the O class ships offer snacks throughout the day.  On non-Oasis Class ships the snacks are limited to a few hours in the morning and at the happy hours around dinner time.  I’ll keep my eyes open for the snakes though.  I will want to know if anyone else sees them.

We had a wonderful lunch in CK on embarkation day. The Margarita flat bread was great, as were the herb crusted chicken and the salmon.  Atmosphere was peaceful and relaxed.  Great start to a great week!

Wow.  That's awesome that they allowed him to that at the kid's price!  I wonder if it's one of those things that really vary by ship as far as how much they enforce it.  When we were on Indy last year, they told my daughter, who was also 12 at the time that if she wanted to order off the adult's menu that we would be paying full price for her.  @ChrisK2793 I feel like this is one of those things where "Your mileage may vary" and you're taking a chance.  It may go either way...

Actually, what I did was not buy the package for my 12YO Grandson, there are two age categories here, quote from the UDP fine print, " Children ages 0-5 dine for free and children ages 6-12 will be charged a $10 cover at the restaurant" so don't book anything for your son, don't even be worried about the table being big enough, they were always able to accommodate, Myself, my Wife and the Grandson, even though the reservation should have only shown 2 people because I bought 2 UDP. The other thing was that some of the restuarants charged me the $10, some did not, it seemed like it was determined by the server.
Yes, when the Concierge contacts you, tell him what night and time you want and what restaurant you want, being OCD I already have a day by day list of what I want including CK so that when I get the email from the Concierge all I have to do is hit reply and attach my document.
Yes, this is what we did, even though we ended up changing it for a few nights, for that we would just stop by the Concierge lounge and ask the Concierge to change our reservation.

Another option is to call Royal Caribbean and have them setup MTD reservations for you at the times you want each night.  Also let them know the size table you want if you want your family to not be stuck with other people.  Then check and make sure the reservations show up in your calendar.

Yes, in that case, I would just purchase the regular adult price for him.
Also yes.  The suite concierge can take care of all those reservations ahead of time for you.  I believe this is what @tiny260 did for the Anthem group cruise in July.

They don't automatically cancel because some people actually go to 2 places to eat, one early and one late.  I couldn't but some do.

I am not sure.  We made our reservations very late and were assigned to the early seating in the MDR.  Once I confirmed the CK reservations, I assumed that those had been automatically cancelled.  On night 4, we got a call in our stateroom, asking why we had not gone to the MDR.  I explained that we were eating at CK.

You can ask the concierge to cancel your MTD reservations at the same time.  They have access to all of that.  I don't know if they get cancelled automatically.  Last time we had both CK and MTD reservations I cancelled my own.  But now knowing the the concierge can access it, I just ask them to do it.

Yolo, it’s true ........ perhaps you guys can change to Oasis or Allure for the same dates?  Both of them seem to price way better than Harmony and Symphony too.
Well before your sail date, both Oasis and Allure will be amped and will be even better than Symphony ...... they’ll both have the Portside BBQ that the other 2 will be lacking as well as everything that Symphony has now.

Sailed Grand Suite on Anthem twice (30 days until third time) and sorry to say only ate at CK once. However, that one experience was amazing. Just like @Lovetocruise2002 said, it's like specialty dining, only included as a suite perk.
Both sailings (and the upcoming one as well) we had friends on-board so it was difficult to take advantage for dinner ... but really wish we had spent more time in CK, that one experience was amazing. Great food and great service. We have one meal we are planning to have in CK for some alone time away from friends but wish we could enjoy more dinners there. The five nights just isn't enough time for us. Hopefully we can enjoy it for other meals as well (breakfast on sea day for example) and not deal with the windjammer crowds.
To summarize my rant ... it's really a perk you should take advantage of.

    Umm...everything!  And yes!
CK is better than the MDR in terms of everything from service, food quality and presentation, and the views.
The food in CK is made to order (and not mass produced like the MDR).  The quality of the food is comparable, if not better sometimes to a specialty restaurant.  In fact, many of the meals in CK are also in the specialty restaurants and Chef's Table.
The menu in CK is also an upgraded menu from the MDR.
And last but not least, you cannot the beat the ambiance of CK, especially on Oasis class ships.  Up on on Deck 17, with floor to ceiling windows, it's airy and bright and a more relaxed environment that the MDR.  I never go to the MDR if I have access to CK.
If you are interested in seeing the CK menu from SY, it's in my blog along with some food pics.

I just got back from Harmony.  We generally ate two meals a day in the CK-either breakfast and dinner or lunch and dinner.  We loved it!  We had one lunch in the MDR.  I like the MDR generally, but on a ship of that size, we found it a little overwhelming.  It was crowded and busy.  By the contrast, the CK was a peaceful "Oasis".  By the second day, the manager and the servers knew our names.  Service was prompt-must faster than the MDR and the food was wonderful.  The views were spectacular.  I highly recommend dinner there, in particular.  The other meals, we grabbed at the Vitality Cafe, the Park Cafe, Sorrentos or Mini-bites, depending on mood, etc.

I saw CK on the Anthem GC and booked online for a couple of the nights, but I don't see it on my upcoming Harmony cruise so I plan on having the Concierge make them for me.
Have to have the Filet that first night.
