We went twice on Symphony and bought a cabana cause we were afraid of not having places to park ourselves under an umbrella- there was SO much room and no one had a hard time finding a spot to relax in a nice chair under an umbrella. We spent a lot of time in the oasis lagoon sitting on the back benches and floating around. 

Because nobody breathes, coughs, or sneezes, near people when they're outside....

Anti maskers wandering around sounds like a ball as well.... it was hard enough to get people to wash their damn hands before entering the buffet or MDR, they gotta be strict or just not sail.

I know this probably sounds crazy given the embarkation day hecticness, but (and maybe it's cuz we get a suite) the food comes fairly quick and is always yummy. Plus we can unpack while waiting for the food to arrive (if luggage has made it to us) or just chill after the adventure of getting on the ship without bumping into the EVERYBODY. lol.
In fact, in all 3 past cruises, we rarely left our room before muster because the boarding process just crowded all the halls.

Oooohhh .... I like this idea, Doesn't sound crazy at all! Lunch can be super hectic, this gets you fed and unpacked at the same time. Genius!

I want  to start collecting magnets or ornaments or something of the like for each new ship...but honestly they never quite scream to me when I'm on board.

The brightest moment since March but the experts have warned we still have some dark months ahead.  Keep the faith, we'll soon turn the corner on this thing.

The safe in your room probably isn't quite large enough for a laptop, however! 

That One Last Trip to Walmart to pick up stuff I'd forgotten to get.
We also go out and eat foods that we're unlikely to get (usually Chinese or Vietnamese) while on board or near the hotels. We tend to take for granted all the Asian food options we have in Toronto, and forget that there might not be as much choice wherever we go.

For us.. we have to buy a ship magnet.. I know its dumb.. but we have to litter the Fridge with them lol

That's exactly what I thought. Glad I'm not the only one! 

Baked Beans is a must for a British breakfast. I believe it's mandatory under an Act of Parliament passed in 1622, but I could be making that bit up :)

comparing daily (since thanksgiving is only one day), I think I eat more on a cruise. Mainly because I don't have to cook the food so I have plenty of time to eat and eat and eat on a cruise.

Cruising will definitely come back, the only question is how long it will take. The CDC's latest move has effectively guaranteed that even if sailing resumes in limited form in 2021, so many people are going to be turned off by the prospect due to CDC fear-mongering that it could take several years for it to return to its prior levels in the US.
But if you're looking at cruising "across the pond", things are still working out over there as far as how the various governments are treating the industry and how the new protocols are proving themselves.
My forecast at this point (which you can imagine is about as reliable as me forecasting the weather for the next 5 days) is that cruising worldwide is still going to be in shambles until July / Aug 2021. That's about how long it'll take for vaccines to become widely distributed and a good portion of the population to get them. Starting around then, I'm guessing that cruising everywhere but the US is likely to pick back up rapidly; but don't be surprised if you have to show proof of vaccination no matter where you are coming from (including, and maybe especially, for US residents unless we get our infection rate back down Real Fast Now). International travel in general will probably require that for several years, while we wait to see if Covid mutates and whether the vaccines are good for life (like Measles vaccines) or if people will need a booster shot after some period.
Cruising out of the US has just been shot and left to die by the CDC. I don't see that coming back to normal levels for at least 5 years now, thanks to their interference. @Matt's article/commentary about this sums up my own anger pretty well. I don't care what the procedural / political / governmental reasons are for their treatment of cruising vs. air travel, it's complete BS.
