  1. Utopia Inaugural

Beach Club at Coco Cay prices are WAAAY down! The OWC there started at 4,999 now it's slightly over 2,000. Entry to the Beach Club has come down also. I'm not biting because I paid enough for the sailing but I'm thinking many feel this way because the drops are BIG. Now if they would only let us in on the big secret Railway Dining experience, that is something I MAY commit to, depending on the $$$$. We are on the Island with Allure so we most likely won't even leave the ship. New ship & only 3 nights probably enough to experience on board. First person to see anything new please give us the heads up?

    Thanks a bunch!

Are you staying in a suite? I loved the look of "Lady G", but the casino, lack of entertainment, and smell made her a one and done for me.

Yes, and I am a bit concerned because the aft usually has elevated odors but I'm on deck 8 in the 2 bedroom with that very large balcony. My desire is to experience an "old school" sailing experience. I figured I could deal with it for the 7 nights, but I really appreciate the heads up @Ampurp85.

  3. We are sailing in June and chose traditional early seating in the MDR as we prefer the same table/dining team experience. The time states 5:30, just perfect!

We are back on her in August for the Bermuda sailing, same choice traditional early MDR but this one states 5:00.

Curious as to the 30 minute difference, we make it a point to be on time out of respect for the serving team but 5 is super early.

PS we don't enjoy or prefer MTD so just curious as to the reasoning. Thanks a bunch!

  4. Serenade of the Seas November Thanksgiving sailing. Owners Suite to 2 bedroom Owners Suite aft, from deck 10 to deck 7.  Bid was on the lower end at I believe 385.00, it said low bid on the counter.

The 2 bathrooms was key, but the balcony was terrible, super small.  Not really feeling like this was a "true" upgrade.  More of a switch for a bit more money. Every other ship calls this cabin a 2 bedroom grand suite so I felt a little duped. Won't stop me though, I love the process and the euphoria of "winning" just plain fun!

  5. Are you @smokeybandit because you like fast cars? If so you and cabash have a common hobby. Are you celebrating high school graduation as well? Im excited but am trying to enjoy this last month of high school, banquets, prom, celebration breakfast. How fast they grow up. We have not been on a ship since last June though, I purchased my ALLIANZ policy and am ready, LETS GO!!

  6. So we three and our families will all be inside the terminal early, 1030 check in I suspect. @smokeybandit and @TheoneandonlyMICAH I'm the one with the stupid grin like a little kid waiting to board! I'm sailing with hubby/cabash/Vintage Magnet of 350 years (really met in 1990 married in 1992) and kiddo who was my last good egg, age 17 celebrating 18 on thus sailing)

Looking forward to seeing you all & your families!

  7. @LILBEAN55 Nope! Don't concern yourself. Of course every sailing is so subjective but while I miss the Aqua Theater Shows and there is no Broadway type shows.... she is nice. Older yes, smaller yes, but still plenty to do. I have only sailed her once before but I have her booked again in August and I'm happy to do it.

All the hype will always be focused on the new ships (alot more $$) As a Voyager class she still has ice shows which are fun as well as additional entertainment in the theater.

I really enjoy my Oasis class sailings but Adventure has lots of beautiful and fun things of her own. As with every ship the food is hit or miss but I find that across the fleet. This itinerary is wonderful, I'm sure you will have a great time.

Go to the Cruise Compass section on this website and click Adventure, you can see from past sailings how packed your days can be.

Enjoy and of course it us what you make it. Go in knowing you are going to have a great vacation, I'm sure you will!

  8. @Brookelynn. No, it's Royal IT. Please don't let it take away from your sailing. Did you uninstall and then install again? That is what I had to do, they will get it together.

There is nothing like your first Royal Cruise, it is incredible. I look back and remember it so fondly, I met @SebagoSue on that sailing, actually @wordell1 and his family , what a warm wonderful welcome we received.

The only problem you may encounter is you will get hooked like the rest of us, the ships crew go above and beyond to make sure you are happy.

Happy cruise and a big warm welcome to our Royal family!!

  9. @Ampurp85 I agree the loyalty program is enjoyable for sure. Being D+ we enjoy wonderful perks. In my perfect world (because we also are pre vintage) wish there was some way to earn loyalty points on X to add to our Royal totals. We are really interested in Celebrity now that kiddo is leaving the nest & our cruising style is not Icon & Star at this point. We are wanting smaller and don't need the waterslides etc. I looked for our sailing in 2025 at Celebrity HARD, but not earning points towards my status had me putting on the brakes for a minute. I get it, their program, their rules. Just going to take it one sailing at a time, and I LOVE 2 CRUISE!!

In 2026 I will be celebrating 60 years young & I may break free for an X celebration though to mark the occasion!
