The Daily Mail is not known for it's balanced reporting here in the UK, they love the sensational headlines but never follow up the story when it turns out to be a non story. Case in point, the recent scare on the Costa ship in Rome was a headline when the passengers were detained onboard, but hardly got a mention when it turned out to be standard seasonal flu.

No. I'm leaving in 2 weeks.  I'm more likely to get the flu or norovirus (either on a cruise, or from the flight, or right here at work) than coronavirus. I'm tired of the fear mongering and hyperbole.

The points are icing on the cake.   I'm on a cruise on a ship I enjoy.  It may not be the newest or biggest ship, but I'm on a cruise while @Matt is sitting at home thinking and talking about being on a cruise.  That itself proves I am winning.  The points are just icing at this point.   

Just make sure he has some "tall" shoes on that day and/or his hair is extra "poofy".

A rainy day on a cruise is better than a sunny day at the office.
It rained for an hour the first time we were at cococay in August 2018....while everyone else was running out of the water and heading for cover I was like....it isn't a thunderstorm...its a light drizzle....we're already getting wet swimming in the ocean....so we just kept right on swimming and playing around.  Great memories.

On our recent cruises it's been like that, the only announcements you got in the room were emergency ones (the muster practice etc.) Like you I end up sticking my head out the door.

Have used Planet Cruise which is part of the same group (my confirmation e-mail came from IGLU), deals seemed competitive, I bundled in a flight and hotel, what did surprise me was the size of deposit they wanted, much larger than I was expecting.
