kittysoul
Hi guys... another question for you seasoned RC'ers.... is there a general type of store on Anthem... not for souvenirs and jewelry and expensive bags, but for sundries.... things like paperback books and magazines...candy/ mints/gum..... little things you forget like toothpaste.... stuff like that? Granted, I know it will be overpriced if they do, but just curious.....
Lovetocruise2002
Yes, it is on Deck 4 on the Esplanade. I don’t think there are books/magazines though. Matt, kittysoul and tiny260 2
Matt
Adding onto what @Lovetocruise2002 said, it's quite limited. Don't rely on RC for supplies. Instead, buy it all before the cruise or in port. kittysoul
whenismynextcruise
The other thing to be aware of is that you better be prepared for the prices. Your jaw will literally drop when you see what is considered a travel sized toothpaste at your local CVS will cost you $10. I have a "if I forget to pack something I will buy it when I get there" attitude about land vacations. Cruising on the other hand it can get very expensive forgetting something and relying on getting in port can be be a gamble. kittysoul
fonemanbob
$ 7.00 for Pringles. $ 5.00 for a candy bar. Stop the Taxi or just stop at a store on your way to the Port. whenismynextcruise, kittysoul and Hoski 1 1
Fuzzywuzzy
The empty Pringles container can be filled with bacon from the Windjammer for snacking later on. whenismynextcruise, JennyJenny, tmp916 and 5 others 4
Andrew72681
If you’re coming in the day before but don’t want to venture out to a store, Amazon the supplies you’ll need directly to your hotel for the night before. If you’re in NYC the night before you can even use Prime Now to get some stuff within two hours. kittysoul
