Welcome to the boards!
The tour uses large buses and there are no car seats available.

We've done whiskey tastings a couple of times. Once we talked a bar manager into offering a tequila tasting -- super fun!

Welcome to the boards! I like to use the Rome2Rio website to start my transportation research in a new location. It will give you an idea of costs and schedules.

Once upon a time I flew to Barcelona for a cruise. Supposed to land at 1130a on the day of departure. Ship was leaving at 5p. Plane was 2 hours late landing in Barcelona. We were literally the last ones on board, at 445p, when everyone was doing the muster drill. They all stared at us as we boarded, and the ship actually left 20 minutes late because of us.
Don’t do it.

You won't be able to order MDR breakfast, just the American hot options. At least that what I was told. Even Star class get the American breakfast menu for room service unless their Genie makes the trip.
Actually yes, you can get MDR items. MisterZ has had Eggs Benedict multiple times

I wanted to ask if breakfast room service is available from the dining room if booking a Grand Suite? We will be on Allure of the Seas. I remember, in the past, being able to order dining room dinner in our suite, but I don't remember if ordering breakfast (or lunch) from the dining room is an option for suite guests.
I remember the tags with continental breakfast (free) and a couple of other paid options, but the dining room breakfast has more choices. If so, how is it ordered? Just calling the room service #? I would prefer to order it the evening before to get it in a certain time frame like the time frames we check off on a tag.
Thanks in advance!
Yes! This is MisterZ's favorite suite perk. You cannot order ahead, however.
Just call room service and say "I'd like to order off the dining room menu". There will be a copy in your suite folder, or you can look in the app ahead. Delivery takes less than 30 minutes, normally.

We just spent Christmas weekend at the New Yorker Hotel near Hell's Kitchen. It's an art-deco hotel, older, but will fit your price range, likely. Rooms are small but clean and functional. The Tick Tock Diner there is quite good for breakfast. Close to the Empire State Building and lots of other sites.

The Windjammer will be open for certain. Other venues may be as well.

I’m going on a cruise Dec 31, 2022 to Jan 6 2023 and Key West, Jamaica and Haiti are the ports. Haiti has a “No TRAVEL” advisory by the USA Department of Travel. Jamaica has a “RECONSIDER Travel” advisory. What will Royal Caribbean do?
Welcome to the boards!
Highly unlikely your itinerary will be impacted. Haiti in particular, as Labadee is private property far from any of the major urban areas.

Best $100 I've spent in a very long time. Construction in the Customs/Immigration area in Seattle a few years back. Wouldn't even let us off the plane, it was so crowded, and the estimate was 45 minutes before we could even enter the building. But as the agent was leaving the aircraft after sharing the news with us, he says "oh, unless you have Global Entry. You guys can come with me right now".

I heard you have to go in the back for the party. Too much business in the front.
Site really needs an eye roll emoji…

While the onboard price may be higher, if you find one of the wandering servers drumming up specialty dining reservations the first day (they troll the Windjammer, for example), you may be able to score a discount of some kind.

This is not Royal's fault, however I do agree that there should be an officer onboard who could have gotten an answer as to what the issue was.
Actually, Immigration in any country will not tell the cruise line/airline/tour company anything about a person's case 99% of the time. It's both a privacy thing and a way to ensure that the country's policies do not become public knowledge. It's why they often won't tell the person directly what the issue is as well.

I know Magan's Bay has public restrooms. Don't know about the other beach.

Family of four ( 2 boys 10 & 13) looking for some fun things to do in Nassau since we didn't book any paid excursions that day. Would prefer not to just go to a beach when we are there. Any ideas would be appreciated!
The Graycliff chocolatier tour is fun if you haven't done a similar tour elsewhere, and walkable from the ship as long as you don't mind the heat.

concierge lounge/ does not mean Diamond lounge? Or are they changing the Diamond lounge to a "Concierge lounge?
They are different. Concierge Lounge is the equivalent of the Suite Lounge.

Hi everyone!
Hubby and I will be taking our first cruise ever on Navigator of the Seas soon and I was wondering if anyone else has cruises after having gastric surgery.
My husband had gastric sleeve a few years ago and cannot eat meals in large portions. It’s better for him to eat several small meals or snacks throughout the day. We can adjust for the reserved dinner times but I’m wondering about the buffet and the MDR for lunch and breakfast. Is it possible to visit either the Windjammer or MDR for small bites a couple of times every few hours? Will they allow us to take leftovers back to our cabin?
I appreciate any advice from anyone that has had gastric surgery or a family member that they’ve cruised with that has.

You will have no trouble finding small (or large!) amounts of food at pretty much any time. You can go to the windjammer at 7a for breakfast and then again at 930a for second breakfast, for example. You can also find grab and go food at a few other venues at various times.
Enjoy your cruise!

I havent sailed since they started leaving the seapass cards at the room. How do you get drinks prior to the rooms opening up without the seapass card.
Show your Setsail pass, either in the app or printed out, at any of the bars.
