Here is my comprehensive video review of Wonder of the Seas in 2023. I review the drink package, unlimited dining package, WoW bands, ports of call, and much much more.  Enjoy.
If you don't want to watch it I can sum it up that we will continue to happily cruise with Royal Caribbean.

    Short update:
Made call yesterday via wifi no problem.
Baby boy is showing "no signs of stress and is a sweetheart". We told them he is super picky eater. Left him with 4lbs of pre package deli chicken and cheese. Told them to mix in his food, but hasn't been working. We said start hand feeding him the deli separately from the dog food. He never says no to a slice of chicken or cheese. LOL. Hand feeding works best. He's 2 and a half but still a baby in many ways. Told them if they run out to buy more and we will pay upon return.
    Today is St Thomas.
Was planning to make our own way via taxi to Megan's Bay (about $45 less than excursion). Still waking up. Late night last night. Comedy show and then love and marriage show. Had a blast but up till 1am. So this morning is a slow start. LOL.
    Again, full review to come
    Thanks all!

Also to avoid more children is to take longer cruises...At least 7 days. We had the worst encounter with children on 4 day cruise around the same time of year (after
Thanksgiving and before Christmas) than we did on 7 day cruises.

Sorry @Lombert that the trip has been disappointing.  Seems like you were patient, asked for help, and some things didn't work out.   It happens but still frustrating.

Just my opinion........Several posts suggested bringing your tea if it's essential.   Should you have to do that?  No....but might be a good idea.   Personally I have issues with the app during check in and bring a printed version of all documents just in case it happens again.  No more headache.
I agree the MDR food and service has declined significantly.  Maybe Royal's plan is to prioritize the Key, Specialty Dining, and Suite guests?    Our Chef's table was phenomenal but MDR was horrible.   Do we have to pay more for better service?  It shouldn't be optional.
The crew and attendants seem to be working harder than ever .....many have admitted they are tired.   I watched the airline industry go through this since the pandemic.  They have had high profile meltdowns.   Are the few extra dollars on the bottom line worth the impact on the people you trust to take care of your customers and assets?
I have cruises booked on Princess next month and Celebrity next year.  Curious to see if they are faring better.

Again, wish you had a better experience.  You can always vote with your wallet and try a different cruise line or a land based vacation.

It's funny, I was on this same cruise and felt as though it was definitely on par with Oasis May '22 and Oct '22 that we were on and def better than Anthem in Dec (and we loved all three). It's interesting to see the opinions of others.
Food? Found it to be great for what it is. That being said, we visited the MDR fewer times this trip than on our previous Oasis trips and we are fortunate to have a 10 year old who is not fussy in the least and doesn't order from the admittedly boring kids menu (kid loves her escargot!). We tried tapas at Vintages one night (hidden gem!!) dinner at Chops another, enjoyed Sorrento's more times than I care to admit and actually hit the Facejammer a couple of nights as we like the view and the kiddo is a fan of the burgers. Loved the Mexican and Indian food selections and found everything to be hot, tasty and plentiful. We are foodies and love good restaurants when at home/on land vacations but we do understand though that you are not getting a "restaurant experience" onboard (other than the specialty places I guess) so we adjust expectations. We know that they are grinding out meals/food for thousands at a time. It's really more of a banquet-quality situation, really. Once adjusted to this with expectations, we are perfectly happy. We are pretty easy I guess 🙂
As for general onboard experiences, I guess we all have different opinions. Us, we didn't have any issues and found the crowds to be manageable (we tend to eat at off times and never encountered lines) and full of decent people (even though some lady in a scooter cluelessly ran right over my 10 year old's foot on her way to the can and people were fairly ruthless with their baby SUV strollers/wagons.....). Definitely a better crowd than Anthem at Christmas.  Now THAT was a cruise full of iffy behavior! I never want to go on a holiday cruise again!  😆
I found the staff to be very attentive and insanely hard working. Other than lacking utensils on our first room service breakfast (we rolled with it until they arrived, these things happen), we felt well taken care of. Our dinnertime MDR waiter even found us at the Facejammer at lunch one day and grabbed drinks for us without us asking. That was super awesome of him.

I do hope you'll try an Oasis class again as perhaps you'll have a better experience next time!

No, you're not being too whiny. Good food is or used to be a very important part of cruising, now it seems that is just optional...

Gosh, having a less than stellar dining room experience due to new, inexperienced crew now seems inconsequential compared to a life boat being deployed in an emergency BEFORE I get on it.

I live in Mexico, and I totally understand when tourist feels uneasy or insecure coming here after seeing terrible news like this.
However (and not trying to play down this tragedy) the recent reports suggest that this was a confrontation between criminal groups.
As others have pointed, criminal groups rarely targets tourist.
However, recently just before a FOS cruise on Miami on spring break, my wife and I where eating in South Beach when we were caught in the middle of what looked like a gang fight with guns involved, luckily no shots were fired but this happened right next to us, obviously I would feel uneasy coming back to SB any time soon. So I could understand If someone would prefer staying on the ship when visiting a Mexican port of call.

Just an update about the Manhattan trip. We get outside to the taxi place and asked if there was a van that could take us round Manhattan befor go to the Newark airport. And there was, for just a few dolar more than we did pay for the Royal Caribbean tour that was cancled. Now we are at the airport waiting for our flight.
So we are happy this was possible. Thanks again for all feedback and suggestions!
Me and my wife will make our comments about the small issues we tought there was onboard in the Survey later..

Not an aficianado, hell I don't even know what I'm doing inside a humidor. Nonetheless, there's something about a cruise, a cigar and a drink. Last November on our Oranjestad, Aruba port call, I found the Authentic Cigar Lounge very close to the port off the main drag/shopping area. Told the extremely knowledgeable lady behind the counter I wanted a nice, mild cigar that wasn't the size of a sequoia tree. She suggested a local hand rolled cigar of Dominican tobacco, sized as Roger Miller said in song "short but not too big around". Bought 3, lit one up and stopped and bought a $4 cup of ice cold Montana Beer, sat at a table and watched the passengers as they walk back to the pier, Jewel in the background. Nirvana............
Makes me wonder why I spent 50 years in Marlboro Country.

I'd make the shows line up better with the dinner seatings, so the early dinner folks go to the second show and the late dinner folks go to the first show. Lots of times, the shows don't line up so the second seating people miss the show. And the MTD people sometimes miss both shows!
And I'd bring back the Grand Marnier souffle.
And I'd put a drink machine on the Liberty.
And I'd swap out all the shower curtains on the Radiance with the clamshell shower doors.

We are much too close to the magic 700 to be distracted…but once we get there, all bets are off.  We should make it on our October Mariner cruise.

We are not very experienced cruisers but 3 out of 4 have been with RC and the one that wasn’t we did NCL for Hawaii. I forget how many years ago it was that we started with Royal. We saw one of those travel shows that was about Radiance going to Alaska and we loved what we saw of the ship and cruise through the inside passage with land tour afterwards to Denali and Fairbanks including a train ride and were able to book that exact one which left from Vancouver with dates that fit our schedules. We had such an amazing trip we knew we found the cruise line for us. Since then we have been on Allure for Western Caribbean and Majesty for Bahamas. We were supposed to be on a Mediterranean cruise the year Covid hit and hopefully in a little over a month will finally be able to go and it is on Enchantment.

I echo that tipping is personal and feel free to do what feels right for you.
I was on the receiving end in April of the new once a day service. I normally tip up front because I want ice in the evening and then tip some more in the end. However, on my sailing in April I came into a dirty cabin, that wasn't serviced at all the first day. Even though the head of housekeeping came and said they would deep clean it. I never met my cabin attendant but on the day before disembarkation, there was a tip envelope sitting out. I did not feel my service was up to par so the minuscule tip I left reflected that.

DAS cigars in St. Maarten are absolutely phenomenal. I researched what cigars were on the island and found DAS cigars. Once I got off of the ship, I saw the Das store and I went over and started talking to the gentlemen that was sitting there. He explained all of the verities and I asked if I could sit there and enjoy one with him before I bought any. He said can I cut and light it for you? We sat there and enjoyed the beautiful day with a great stick. He asked what my name was and I asked him what his was - and said, I am Das! I was thinking holy cow, sitting here with the man himself. What a great experience and Das was such a gentlemen. I highly recommend Das if you are in St. Maarten.
