Your question depends upon where you are staying pre-cruise.  Funny, my spouse and I were discussing this a few days ago about how people plan Los Angeles trips without understanding the realities of Southern California.
Disneyland-If you are staying near Long Beach terminal, which is already about an hour drive from LAX, traveling from Long Beach to Anaheim is anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour.  Figure in parking and shuttling from the Disney parking lots, if you leave your hotel at 7am, you can expect to be at the Disney gates by 9am.
The same holds true for pretty much any major theme park in the area.
If I may, I suggest doing things like visiting the Getty Museum, which by my memory was free, and then doing a walking tour of the "Hollywood" area.  Lots of free things to do and some iconic foodie stops such as Pink's Hotdogs.
A baseball game is not a bad suggestion, but Dodger Stadium is on a hill and the only parking at the stadium goes up a narrow road up and down the hill.  Meaning, a baseball game is at least a 6 hour endeavor if it is a short game.
Many people have a misconception that Los Angeles encompasses Orange County, San Diego, the northern greater Los Angeles areas, etc.  All of these locations are a long commute.  Having lived in South Orange County, I tell you that for us, it is a CHORE to venture out even to Disneyland, which is only about 30 miles away.  It is easily a one hour drive each way.
San Diego Zoo from Los Angeles is easily a 3 hour drive each way.
If you have an idea of where you are staying, I can definitely tell you hot spots, trendy places, or local's secrets to experience.  Without knowing where you are staying, I can only say this: Plan on ONE activity a day and no more-or you will likely be disappointed.

@Cruise PirateThere are earlier opportunities to enter it too. Look for "Apply a promo code and exclusive rates discount" links on the first page and when you select how many guests (pre- room selection).

To be clear you have a choice of a one day Surf pass at $0 or a discount towards the price of a full voyage plan using onboard pricing.
If you wait after each passing day the cost of "full voyage" plans has dropped since there are fewer days left.
This applies for each Diamond member in your cabin but independently (you can't stack or combine them towards one plan).
A couple who are both Diamond would each receive the discount.
The free day pass of Surf starts when you say so. For example if you exercise the discount for a free 24 hr pass of Surf at 12:00 noon on day 2 then it expires at 11:59am on day 3.  In this manner you can get coverage for some of two days.  Do the same with your spouses free coupon and share the account then effectively a couple can cover some of four days by choosing the start times based on itinerary and ports of call.

    (1) It gives customers different options and you could ask the same question about cruises in med which visit some of the same ports.
    (2) You also have to remember that not every RC customer comes from the US! For those in Europe its just as cheap to fly to Barbados as it is Florida. And if adding a few days on at end of vacation personally i would rather be sunning it up in Barbados than Miami but thats just my opinion.

You should contact your travel agent (or Royal Caribbean, if you booked through them).    Personally, I'd just leave it as is and cash out the remaining OBC in the casino.

    You wont find it here.
Internal staffing strategies and management is not something you're going to find on a third party fan website.
Referring to any of Royal Caribbean's job sites, you can see they are actively recruiting. Beyond that, we simply don't know and all we have is conjecture.

My paid cruise had a significant price reduction. Great, no big deal, my TA took care of it.  It was refunded as expected as OBC.

Then a week later the OBC was gone and that amount was refunded to my credit card.

Just be aware that the chat isn't included in VOOM, so if you're expecting to use it to communicate with your daughter, then at least you or your wife also need to purchase the chat.

Just to clear things up you only get points after you complete a cruise so these points have to be from your past cruise

I totally agree @KJones. But since you mention 'comfortable with technology', I thought I would give them a low tech solution just in case their bags get lost.  Also by using the plastic tag holders, it reduces the chance the paper tag will be torn off and lost - thus increasing the chance of their bags getting lost.  But overall, the chances of the bags getting lost is pretty LOW - especially when  you compare it to the airlines. LOL!

@FireFishIIwe use the plastic tag holders, they're great. But for the OP's concern about luggage getting lost, I mentioned the AirTags because you can pinpoint where they are if they were to be lost (or at least, on the ship vs. didn't make it onto the ship).

Yes, it's available via the app, and on some ships at least, there are digital touchscreens (I think usually near the elevators) that have daily cruise compass information

@burbuja0512If you're comfortable with the technology (I know not everyone is) you could place an AirTag or Tile inside the bags you hand over to the porters to better track them.

If you check in your bag with the porters, make sure you keep a small backpack or beach bag.  In this bag, should be your medications, sunscreen, and bathing suit.  Medication just in case your baggage goes into a deep dark hole. Sunscreen and bathing suit so you can sit out on the deck in the gorgeous sun, waiting for your room to be read. Have fun.  Leave your worries behind.
