  1. Taking my mom on the March 2-9 cruise, unfortunately the group cruise dates didn't work for me. A Panama Canal full transit cruise was on mom's bucket list and this works time wise for me with only having to take a week off of work. I see the Air2Sea flights are starting to pop up and was wondering how many are planning on using it? Is it easy to get the price match? Because I already see the Copa website is less than the AIr2Sea price And also anyone's experience with Copa Airlines would be helpful. So far I plan to fly in the day before and stay at the Radisson at the Colon port. I'm guessing Uber is the best way to get from the airport to Colon. I have also already booked the Panama City tour and airport drop off for the last day.
  2. I can confirm that room service was included with The Key just this weekend on Liberty
  3. Can confirm it is about a 10 minute walk as I had to do it when we got back last month from our Vision NYE cruise. They had no shuttles running that I saw or wasn't worth the effort to find out. I just left them with the luggage, walked over and drove back to pick everyone up. For Liberty next month I guess I will have to check both arriving and departing terminals even though the covered parking may still be worth the walk IMO.
  4. For our next cruise on Liberty we purchased The Key even thought we are in a junior suite. Took into account the cost of internet package for 2 devices plus the cost of doing lunch at Chops on boarding day and that total was only $4 less than The Key total. So for those $4 we get: Priority Seating in Shows and Special Disembarkation Breakfast Totally worth it in this instance. Most times it is not.
  5. I truly understand being upset over the whole situation and I understand that this TA messed up big time by never booking the cruise and won't take the responsibility. I'm just trying to understand that if the money was refunded then what exactly was the endgame to the "scam". Or is this just a term being used from being upset with the situation.
  6. 1 point per night any room + 1 point if solo + 1 point if in a suite. Max 3 points per night solo in a suite.
  7. They usually have Hold'em tournaments on sea days for $100 buy in and at start of game have option to double your chips for another $50 which of course everyone on the table does. Usually top 3 pay out. As for cash games they usually are later in the evening. Casino host usually requires at least 5 players in order to allocate a dealer. I believe it was $2/$5. This was at least my experience on my recent New Years Eve cruise on Vision of the Seas. Not sure of others but on this trip some of the games got pretty serious in terms of the pots.
  8. Yes we got one of our fares refunded so basically half back, still was able to board/depart with the other suite guests, put to the front of the waitlist in case of any last second suite cancelations(which did not happen) and am supposed to get the suite C&A points but that hasn't been posted yet to verify.
  9. Funny cause this was the exact quote from the Royal rep when I called 7 days before my sail date with my concern about not having been assigned a room. Then 3 days later "oh sorry the suites were sold out and only had a balcony available"
  10. While I will say now is too early to get concerned, from my recent experience of being downgraded from a suite gty to a balcony aboard the Vision of the Seas New Years cruise you should be prepared for the possibility. If you aren't assigned by check in day I would have a list of concessions ready just in case of a possible downgrade.
  11. Insurance companies would set the restrictions based off the risk of a child getting injured and thus getting sued. Cabanas are made of wood (splinters), have lots of furniture with corners and are elevated off the ground. I would guess that is why minimum age of 4 to reduce the risks.
  12. Kids sail free promotion is for sailings up to May 2023 for now Kids Sail Free applies to new bookings made between August 1 – 31, 2022 (“Offer Period”) on sailings departing on or after September 2, 2022 – May 25, 2023 (“Offer Cruise”), providing free cruise fare for third guests and higher who are 12 years old and younger as of Offer Cruise departure date on sailings 3 nights or longer booked in the same stateroom as the first two qualifying guests in a triple or quad- occupancy stateroom.
  13. I actually believe there is some validity to this theory as they are struggling with keeping inventory in stock. Maybe they think more people that buy per drink will be less wasteful and probably spent almost the same amount of money. Another theory would be the amount of people that took advantage of double points that are now D or higher have skyrocketed and they need to make up the cost of all those free drinks every day.
  14. Just to clear things up you only get points after you complete a cruise so these points have to be from your past cruise
