When I sailed in 2004 we were Starboard, which was great. We were docked in Quebec City for 2 nights and our cabin faced the beautiful city.But Royal no longer runs round trip to Quebec.  

I would be happy to ride a roller coaster on a cruise ship,  just not on Carnival. ?

I like Roller Coaster but I will not trust Carnival for operating it. Carnival always has a problem with ship malfunction. If it is on other cruise lines like RCI or Norwegian I might do it. (JUST MY OPINION.)

I would think twice before booking one of these rooms on Explorer.  I had one on Explorer and the room itself was very nice, especially the view, but there is a small deck over these rooms that can be reached via some stair on the sundeck.  The sundeck, deck 12, has the track and certain runners would increase the length of their laps by leaving the track, climb the steps and run around this small deck before returning to deck 12.  Each morning we were awakened at 5:30 with people running on our heads.

They Do Have It. I Think He Said Laser Tag Should Be Added To The Key On Those Ships If The Key Goes To Those Ships.
 

It just showed up for our Navigator Cruise in March. And when it goes into drydock next month, they are adding Laser Tag! So there you go, wish granted!

Double C&A points for solo is based on the cabin you sail in.  It sounds like you paid the full single supplement so you should get double points.

Just keep in mind that you won't see luggage tags yet..That will show up later...like around day 50 in the My Documents link.

In an abundance of caution, I would personally bring the original Rx  bottle for the controlled medication, but not bother about it with the others. This goes double if the controlled medication is an opioid or some other easily abused for non medicinal purposes medication. The last thing you need is overzealous security somewhere acting like you are smuggling something.
