    Will you PM me also?
I am doing an 8 night ABC cruise on Adventure in November. Researching now for things to do and must see, so would love information.
    Thanks!

Just to close this out, the pack and play, though smaller than he's used to, was large enough for him to move around. We pulled the sofa forward and put the crib between it and the wall. The cabin steward congratulated our layout, saying that despite his recommendation to do it like that, most folks ignore him and put the crib in front of the sofa, rendering it unusable for seating. The room darkening curtains attached to the ceiling with small, strong magnets from Amazon and clipped to the wall with (barely sufficient strength) dollar store magnetic clips, create a tiny bedroom for the little guy. We had to pull down an opening at the ceiling and aim the back panel inward whenever he was in the crib so that all of the AC didn't blow directly down into the crib. Otherwise, sweet!

Well I just hope they don't catch it before our cruise in Sept on Anthem.
By the way I'm not like freaking out at being Emerald because it's not much better than Platinum, I'm more happy about the points bring at 59 I'm only 21 from being Diamond. That's the awesome part because with Anthem Sept and Oasis in May I should be at 71. So very close to a cool goal of Diamond. That's the big one that is doable. The others are just nuts. No way I'm getting up there.

Thanks for your input! Having lived in Florida my entire life, I have to admit I'm not very educated on fan etiquette at Hockey games. However, I was wondering if banging on the glass was a "normal" and acceptable thing to do at games. Although it is probably Plexiglas,  it still seems rather unsafe especially for a young child, not to mention (as I just learned) rude.
I have appreciated everyone's posts and agree - how do you not know a window is open???  What happened to the child is horrible and I understand that the family is grieving (What that mom saw when she went over to the window and looked down - ugh, makes my heart ache), but blaming RCCL because Grandpa didn't know the window was open is insulting!
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

Yeah, particularly when you have a sleazy lawyer whispering in your ear 5 seconds after it happened, "....this is not your fault.  I can get Royal Caribbean pay you a LOT of money.  This is THEIR fault..."

    Here is a better solution:
Eliminate the the health questionnaire before each cruise and have an intelligence test.
The test will be a salesman sample of a window. The gate agent take take each potential passenger and ask them "Is this window open, or, is it closed?" One answer only. About 3 seconds to respond.

To be honest, if someone is not bright enough to know whether a window is open or closed, I really don't want to be sharing the ship with them for a week. It's my vacation too.

As a loyal passenger this is very upsetting and has turned to insulting. As a guy who played hockey for 20 some years--it's really disturbing that poor fan etiquette is taught at such a young age. UGGG!!! <tears out a handful of hair from scalp>

I just looked at our 7 night cruise in October 2020 and the deluxe drink package was listed for $18 (US) per day!!!  So, I booked it too! $297 total for the two of us! Incredible!!
However, my other three more recent cruises were all priced as usual, but I will take a computer glitch were I can!
Thanks for the heads up @kuruczpa! What a find!!!

Hush Silent Party is the best! My husband and I did this with our adult sons (20 & 19). It is so much fun, even if you just want to people watch and listen to some music. Your headsets are color coded to the music you are listening to - either blue or green. You can switch at any time to listen what the other DJ is playing. It seems as if the DJs try to out do it each other for more listeners, so they are constantly changing up the play selection. Hard to say exactly how many songs they play - it's more like how many songs can they get in during the specified time. That said it is even fun to just take off your headset and listen to some very bad vocals from everyone singing along! ?  There is dancing on the dance floor and dancing on the sidelines. Everyone just kind of does their own thing. Put on your dancing shoes, encourage your husband to go and have fun! You won't regret it!

We went to the Solarium for dinner on HOS three weeks ago. It was good, but I remember it being better last year (but maybe it was because it was our first time there or  I was hungrier - idk..). It was still a buffet for appetizers & desserts and a menu for the entrees. It is a different menu than what is offered in the MDR. I order grilled shrimp and they were really good and plentiful! There was also a flank (or was it skirt??) steak which was good along a salmon dish. Since there is no charge, I would encourage you to go and try it. ?

What should happen is that the loyalty pins will be placed in your stateroom during the first few days of the cruise following the cruise on which you achieve the next status level.  So if you reach Platinum on the current cruise, you should receive the pins on your next cruise.
This usually happens like clockwork, but on our last cruise we reached Diamond+.  When we didn't receive the pins by Day 6 I went to the Loyalty Ambassador and he said I wasn't on the list.  He checked his computer to verify our status, and then slipped away to get the pins and gave them to me on the spot.

On our last cruise, I happened to mention the pin we didn't get to someone in guest services. They contacted the loyalty desk and an hour later it was in our cabin. You can also call and I'm sure they will mail it to you.

    Karli,
I don't think you get a better price from a travel agent, but you get service.  We have always used a travel agent because we are AAA members.  Aside from educating us about cruising and traveling to various embarkation ports, they have helped solve problems.  Sometimes they have canceled and rebooked cruises to get us the benefit of a special promotion.  We do get a bottle of wine and periodic OBC, and we sometimes get free specialty dinners or lunches.  But when American Airlines lost our luggage on a 3-week trip to New  Zealand and Australia, it was nice to know our agent was working on our behalf to find the luggage.  As was stated, we don't pay the agent anything for cruises.  There is a fee for airline tickets, so we only have our agent book those tickets when we are traveling overseas.  For the NZ/Australia trip, our agent found a lower price than we could arrange on our own.   I'd rather talk to an agent than fight computer glitches, which is why I prefer agents.   Most of my life I've done things on my own, and I've made mistakes that would have been avoided had I asked for help.  So now I ask for help when I can't be the "expert".

Last cruise on day 3 we got a note advising our TA had given us a $100 OBC. Totally unexpected. Totally drank it away.

@ChessE4 You beat me to it. I was just going to post the same thing..no point duplicating.
@tiny blonde I will just add that they supposedly limit the amount they sell per sailing to 100-200 people. Also, when we had it on Symphony last month an added, unpublished perk was that they did not scan Key members seapass cards when getting pool towels. This was great for two reasons. It eliminated the chance of erroneous charges for unreturned towels and it also allowed us to just dump the used towels in the bin without having to wait on line in order to have them scan the return.
