As a first time cruiser, I am hoping to be on Oasis of the Seas in October. We have a 1 BR Aquatheater Suite (11330) and have a few questions. I have been reading reviews online and have watched a ton of Youtube videos but I still have some questions that I am hoping you can help me with. I know there are a lot, so I appreciate any assistance you can provide. TIA
1) Does room 11330 have a bathtub or just a shower? Unclear whether or not this changed after the amplification. It was my understanding that all suites had a bathtub, but I saw some videos that showed just a shower, so I am confused.
2) What is the Night 1 filet in Coastal Kitchen that I have read about?
3) Is the Suite Lounge worth going to on Embarkation Day? Do they have anything special there for while you wait for rooms to be ready?
4) I saw that Sky Class offers a tour of the bridge. Is this just of the bridge or is it the All Access Tour? The All Access Tour is on sale in the Cruise Planner, but I don't want to buy it if it is something that is included with the suite.
5) We purchased the Ultimate Dining Package. Will the concierge be able to make all meal reservations in advance or will they just make it for night 1 and then we have to make the rest when we get on board?
6) I love planning ahead for vacations. Is there any way to find out the daily activities in advance of the trip? What about the theme parties that will be on board, so I can pack accordingly.
7) Can you order sushi from Izumi to go? If so, do I have to go there in person to order or can it be ordered over the phone?
8) With the Ultimate Dining Package, is everything included or will upcharges still be applicable if they are listed on the menu (ie: lobster or Chops steak in MDR, seafood tower at Chops)? 

No.  At least....I've never paid for anything at Chops when sailing in Star (other than the bottles of wine)

Ha...yeah, we dont want to miss out on the "free" dining package we got for the Nov cruise...and it would be the first time sailing with a balcony and it would be a brand new ship and  our first time to Coco Cay since it was revamped...so a lot of pluses if we could make it work.....

A common (and my) take on it is  IF you are low in Crown and Anchor Society, AND if you are not in a suite, AND if you are already going to buy the Voom internet package AND if you are on a Quantum, Oasis, or otherwise amped ship (Navigator, etc) AND if you can snag it for less than $22, then yes, it can be worth it. Otherwise, no.  I've used it 3 times because I've gotten pretty good deals on it and I met all of my qualifications.  But is it necessary? Absolutely not.  

Another tip, once on board and you are setting up your account. It will ask you for your name and booking number. Make sure you put it in exactly how it appears on your reservation. I kept getting and error when I would put my first name in as Greg, and not Gregory. I felt like such and idiot when I realized what I was doing wrong??‍♂️?

We did this itinerary last May. In Roatan, we did an excursion through Royal Caribbean - snorkeling with Jolly Rogers! It was by far the BEST excursion we have ever done. Roatan has the second largest barrier reef (next to Australia), so the sights under the water are magnificent! We swam over a cliff and honest to God it felt like you were going to fall off (lol), but the beautiful sights were nothing like I have ever seen before (coral, fish, etc.). After snorkeling, they fed us grilled chicken, rice, pasta salad and watermelon along with an open bar (Nice!). One of the crew members mom made all the food and it was delicious! Overall, that experience was fantastic. We have snorkeled other places since, but nothing compares to Roatan (IMO). 
Whatever you do, just remember to have fun!  :)
 

If you have any OBC make sure to ask what will happen with it before you decide to move.  In some cases it's lost. 

GOOD NEWS !  Yes !  Assuming you booked under North American rules, you can get the upgrade for $0 but, as you noted, you will not get any money back.
If you booked with an Agent, call ASAP and have them take care of this for you.  If you booked directly with Royal, call them.  This will NOT be done for you automatically.  You will have to act.

This is what I found searching Oasis's deck plans. Suite 1742 is a handicap room, so your room is going to be bigger than normal - balcony included! Score!!

I wonder if grandpa has ever come back to his car in a snow storm and found his car full of snow because he didn't know his window was open?
Probably has a wicked air conditioning bill in the summer when the windows in the house are open.  
Drive through restaurants must be a PITA for him.  Is the window open or not?  So confusing.
Is he a Mac IT professional because Windows seems to give him a lot of trouble.

I use Park n Go and recommend them. They park your car load and unload your luggage. No waiting take you right to your car.

I think Its going to hit Nassau on Saturday so I think Royal will end up having to make that a Sea Day.. I don't think they will cancel the cruise because on Friday when the boat leaves everything will be fine. 

I just checked the Chef's Table menu on Royal's app for my November sailing on Adventure. Here's what is listed:
Pan-Roasted Scallops Smoked Tomato Soup Maine Lobster Salad Choice of Grilled Scottish Salmon or Grilled Filet Mignon Truffle Tagliatelle Valrhona Chocolate Bar and Petits-Fours Similar, but different.
Now, I understand I am a few months out and the menu may change, but I am really hoping it doesn't. This all sounds wonderful and my reservation has been made!
Fingers crossed Chef's Table isn't becoming cookie cutter!
