Awesome,  Lemon drop is my wife's favorite drink.

Not saying the Grandfather is lying or just trying make excuses. But out of the 5 Royal sailings I've been on thus far, I have seen windows open on the pool deck during embarkation day on all of them. I was able to easily tell they were open even from 15 to 20 feet away, let alone being up close. Furthermore, none of those windows being open were any danger to children as they were still wayyy too high for kids to go over, unless of course it's through a poor judgement by an adult. Any common sense would tell you to at least feel whether there's a window there if you really couldn't tell, before letting your 2 year old toddler lean against it.

For the Prime Casino drinks, I guess the last few cruises I tipped so well, the Casino drink waiters would ask me to get a drink when they see me even when I'm just walking through the Casino and not there to play.

Sept 13th sailing is available now for booking, both complimentary North Star and Ifly. Days 2 and 6 only.

Ok, I just looked over the deck plans of the ship and from what the news is saying, as well as from the deck plans they were somewhere close to the Solarium on the ship which is not near a children's play area.  The pool is a bit of a distance from where they state that they were at.  From what I am seeing they were in the area in between the pool and the Solarium, I am not throwing stones, there are just a few things that just are not making sense here whatsoever.  And what is even worse is that the child had to loose her life over a lack of God given common sense.  Even if I would have placed my child up there and there was a closed window I would have had my arm wrapped around her the entire time just in case she slipped or something.  I honestly would not have put her up there but if I did my arms would not have left her the entire time she was there.  Such a sad tragedy that was ENTIRELY preventable!!!

Wait are you telling me you're still getting comped cruises without renewing your Prime (or above) status from year to year? Surely you're still gambling on the free cruises you went on afterwards right?

Nice!!! Last February on the Jewel I watched a guy drop over 1.2k on this machine and he finally decided to quit cause his wife made him. I sat down after him and put in $200 and it quickly went from $200 to $26 before I hit the gold spin. Got the 15X on the bonus wheel and $100 on the wheel of fortune wheel for $1500. I felt bad cause the dude that dropped the 1200 decided to watch me. I still remember the look on his face. I can't imagine the mood between the two of them afterwards, his wife was right to make him quit, but I bet he prob argued back later about how he would've gotten all his losses back had she not made him quit cause he was pretty reluctant to quit at the time.

It says anyone booked before June 5th will be grandfathered in. The danger really is if Royal has had enough and decides to change itineraries. Although I think since you're sailing in less than 2 weeks you'll probably be ok. Royal will probably change itineraries for any sailings that not already close to sell out.

We're on the same cruise (9/13). Been checking everyday. Seems like its completely random when they put them up for booking if at all. But you can go do it once on board. It'll be the first thing we do once we get onboard if I don't catch it on the cruise planner.

They are mostly the same but from my experience every class of ships also have a few things thats different. It may also depend on the region you're sailing in. For example,  on my Allure cruise out of Port Everglades. One of the nights had a Appetizer with a full stone crab claw in the mdr (I ended up having 4 crab claws). I've never seen it in any other RCL ship I've been on.

I asked about this two years ago on our cruise up that way and was told that the rate is reduced because Royal gets a group discount that they pass on to us.

I did book it already, I'm just wondering if there's anyway RCL's excursion doesn't included actual Tram Tickets lol. but then again that wouldn't make any sense. There's no transportation or anything else involved in this excursion other than Tram tickets.

If you go to the Diamond Lounge, they can make some 'better' drinks for you.  I discovered the joy of a simple Lemon Drop there last month on Rhapsody.
Well, more accurately the joy of 3 of them one evening... ?
