We have been on Oasis twice and have one booked again but I would rather be on Allure again.

Gah!!!....87 days...no entertainment available to schedule yet.
Why does it take so long for sail away day to get here and yet the cruise is over so fast????

That is what I did when I heard that my Freedom Dec 2024 cruise would be in drydock. It took them 4 months to finally cancel and make us offers. The pricing on 2 other cruises I booked went up several hundred dollars in just that 4 months. I got my alt cruise price matched and cancelled the other.
I made refundable bookings so I got my deposits back in less than 10 days.
If you are able to take your original date great if not then you have the back up but at todays pricing. And If you end up taking both well then kudos to you!! 

Hey all.  Got a unique situation I'm in.  Currently have a cruise booked for Wonder in June 2024, 7 Day Eastern Caribbean for the family.  But, I found out that I may need to go on a work trip during that time, but am not sure.  I'd hate to move the sail date (I booked refundable fare) and find out that I'm not going on the work trip.  So I came up with an idea and wanted to get some thoughts on it...

I thought, why don't I book another refundable cruise, same itinerary, but in July 2024, when I know I won't be traveling, as a backup plan.  That way, if my work trip cancels, I can take my original cruise reservation and just cancel the backup plan, and get my money back.  If the work trip does happen, then I have the backup plan, and can cancel the original Cruise trip and get my money back.
Do you think this is a good idea?  What do you think?

We are on Symphony doing the same cruise Dec 2....doing a highlight tour then heading to Eagle beach.

80th Birthday today, will celebrate with two solo cruises in October. Family doesnt like cruising and friends would rather stay home and watch TV LOL!

Now!, Seriously I wanted to go on Dragon's Fire Flight Line, that is the one where you lay down and it sold out fast, then back in July it came back and I got one reserved, the other zip line, Dragon's Breath Flight Line, that one was always available. SO I learned my lesson I reserve everything early, you can always cancel if the price comes down. I also was never able to get the Dragon's Tail Coaster - All Day Access, that was always sold out, though the single ride is still available.

We're on Symphony in December for a Southern Caribbean itinerary. I'm having trouble finding something we want to do (two 30 somethings 🙃) in Aruba and Curaçao. What are some of the unique excursion you've done? We've been to both islands but not in several years and are willing to do it on our own.

Same here and we prefer Portside over Playmakers and it is still more food than we can eat at one sitting.

I have not eaten at Mason Jar but have many times at Playmakers and Portside. Still good value for the money, especially Portside.

I hope so. On our last Symphony sailing it was canceled and then the only time for the reshowing ws during daylight hours. It was just meh then. It looked more like a rehearsal than an actual show.

I recently saved about $1k by booking with MEI.

They don't last long when I am there... I guess having a big tattooed bearded guy staring at them creeps them out and they leave. LOL 😎

No charge for pizza…period…no middle ground

This is spot on from the first page.  Add steeply increased prices on drink packages and internet packages to the list as well.  One at a time these things don't seem like huge issues but add them up and you get to a huge issue quick.  I will be at Coco Cay this Saturday, will be my first time going there not going to the beach club.  The price is insane and I refuse to pay it.  So I will see what the "complimentary" Oasis Lagoon experience is like.  Odds are it won't be nearly equal to the beach club.  So that will lead to the line of thinking that maybe it's time to check out another cruise line, just on the principal of it. 
As everyone says, Sorrento's is bad to average pizza at best.  But at midnight after hitting the bars, it's good enough.  I will not pay a fee for it though.  Honestly that might be the nail in the coffin.  There is nothing else available late, and I don't want a cold sandwich that has been sitting out for hours.  If they take Sorrento's out of new builds, what are they replacing it with?  What hot food option could be cheaper for RC than Sorrento's?
I really hope people start speaking with their wallets.  Although Disney Cruises did this same thing (extraordinary price increases across the board) many years back and it didn't seem to slow their demand.   
      
 

The only reasonable reason to charge for pizza at Sorrentos is for those who special order a whole pizza or two to take away to their room or to the pool.

Curious about the methodology used to select survey recipients. My wife and I both received it, veterans of a whopping 3 cruises.  What was their rationale? Booking history? Accommodations booked? Onboard spending? Personal demographic (old people)?  Recent trip? Inquiring minds..............

Well I am pissed as I did not even get a voice in this.  My last 2 sailings and my next are in suites. I am a Diamond C&A member and I did not even get the survey, I just happen to hear about it.
I was not even asked about it. So where is my voice?? What happens to those that do not follow this forum or youtube? None of them even get a say in the matter either.

Nah!!... We always get MTD and make reservations @ 6:30-7:00 PM and the longest line we had was 2-3 couples ahead of us. We ask for the same table and wait staff so we get the MDR experience but at MY Time.
