I see it's been a while since you've posted, but I just want to ask if anyone who sailed recently has seen any changes in how enforcement is handled during security screening? I know rules haven't changed, but sometimes enforcement can be stricter or looser depending on port or date. Curious if anyone has had recent experience—especially with gummies or oils in checked luggage.
Do you want to risk being denied boarding, banned for life or possible jail time?
If so go right ahead and try it.

Well this is $91.28 per guest on my upcoming Oct Utopia cruise and I will not be choosing this excursion.
I have better places to visit in Nassau that I am very happy to frequent that is just a block from the port. Oh and it is a local place and not a big chain or corporate owned business.
Oh and Kalik is 2 for $6 and margaritas are $10 for sm $14 for lrg.

Does anyone remember when Royal even dared to ask the question if we would be ok with paying for pizza?
What happened with that? How did that go?....Right!! Exactamundo!!

My DBP for Diamond & above is listed as 50% off $54.99. Lowest I’ve seen in a long time.
Mine is $2.00 more

As someone who primarily sails for the ship in the Caribbean 99% of the time (and lounges in the Solarium most days), Alaska was the one cruise I couldn't have cared less what ship I was on or what was going on around me... I was there to see Alaska. It happened to be Radiance and I have very limited memories of the ship itself (my only time on her or that class).
Full disclosure: We also spent 10 days on land pre-cruise (not via Royal) and that experience blew the cruise itself out of the water (no pun intended). I personally wouldn't bother cruising in Alaska again without a land portion (although it can be expensive and a cruise is better than not seeing Alaska at all).
Not trying to convince you of anything, we all like what we like, just throwing out some general Alaska thoughts.
Oh I know...its not you, it's me...It's just everyone I talk to says " Oh you do cruises? You should do an Alaskan cruise."
No thank you, I was born and raised in Michigan, I lived for over a decade in the PNW. There is no way I would pay thousands of dollars to go to a place where I have seen the scenery and be cold and miserable for over a week (counting the day before and after the cruise).
I like sunny hot beaches and warm gentle waves on a beach chair with a little flag so I can raise it to have the attendant bring me a cool adult beverage. With little children interruptions.
I love Royal and I pick my cruise times very carefully to avoid most children available cruise dates. I love going on the "family" cruise ships as there are so may things to do it spreads them out so that there is little interaction. That said if there is a chance that "oh we are bringing them in to the adult only areas, then no thanks. What's next let them in the casino?

Another reason I will NOT go on an Alaska cruise.

ok , thanks
Why I asked because I was on a older ship, don't remember which one & not sure if it was a balcony or OV and did have a medical fridge. I took up a 'lot' of room around and under the desk. Thou it was small , but bulky.
I was on Enchantment last month and while they brought me a med fridge there was no cord so all they did was put a bag of ice in it.

For me it is not even close. Solarium vs The Hide Away...the Solarium hands down is the clear winner.
In my opinion the Solarium on Freedom class is better than Icon Hide Away.

You are correct but will not miss the solarium IMO. The hideaway is great if the weather is good. If not, use the aquadome at the front of the ship. It is very quiet, bright, airy, air conditioned, and has plenty of seating just missing a pool. We actually liked it better than the solarium.
Yeah not a good place for me... no pool or hot tubs. I could just stay in my cabin.

Yesterday was final payment day...hope nobody missed it.

St Kitts... do the train ride.

However, if for any reason you are off the ship and can not make it back to the ship before it leaves then you are in a world of hurt.
You will not be able to re-enter the US without a passport.

Unfortunately the best complementary choices and quality is on Carnival Excel class ships.
Royal needs to step up on that front. Icon is great but it is only 1 ship and at a premium price to get on board.

I had a rule and it still applies, if you get on your phone (and it is not an emergency) at dinner at a restaurant I will excuse myself to go to the restroom and not come back.
