Oh no! Me and my wife were looking forward to eating some chips and Guacamole!
i traditionally just add some fresh limes and a tap or two of the chipotle cholula and the guac is quite nice.
i would say i'm a bit of a guac snob; i made my own and the tableside preparation at sabor is definitely a cut above ELF, but -- this will do in a pinch, if i a doctor it up as directed

you know the way to my heart.
i will say we didn't have anything fried when we went to hooked -- gigantic shrimp cocktail and huge lobster, both steamed to perfection and tasted divine!

i feel like we’d need to sponsor a cruise for her afterward to simply ~recover.

liked that the M class ships had 3 elevator locations (F, M, A) as opposed to 2 found on later designs.
i would agree with this

the new vouchers value will be increased to $17 so that it includes Celebrity's highest priced menu cocktails at select bars.
i do find this part fascinating because - we typically drink chandon sparkling wine on royal. it falls under the $14 threshold — again, it’s a nice sparkling wine.
on celebrity, it’s $17.
for reference, a bottle of chandon costs about $24.
so they are considering it a “premium” when it really… isn’t.
and i understand the convenience factor and everything; obviously we can just bring a bottle of it on board ourselves.
but it makes me wonder how many other of their wines/beverages fall into that category.
like yes, a handcrafted martini at the martini bar with the special tricks and pouring skills — that’s a performance on top of a beverage. i understand that.
but X lumps in premium water (evian, acqua panna, pellegrino) at the $17 cap and you can’t get unless you have a premium package — ie, you can’t get for happy hour, even though it’s nowhere near $17 a bottle. (or a water package)
i understand thats probably more to discourage people from grabbing endless bottles of "free" water during happy hour — but the long winded point of this is that i think some of their thresholds — $14 for basic drinks and $17 for premium — is a bit murky.
if it were based on top shelf liquors, yes, okay — i understand that completely.
but it isn't.
and obvs they have the right to set their prices at whatever they'd like.
it would be interesting to see a comparison between the two (an old fashioned costs $14 on royal and $17 on X, for example) just to get a better understanding of this.

he is obsessed with making it to Diamond so she can relax in the lounge. Yes, not the drink vouchers or internet discount......but lounge access is her goal
somehow i feel like this is very on brand for her...

This is her sixth RCG cruise and she texted me about luggage limits. Somehow her logic was that shorter cruises only allowed weekender bags and/or carry-ons
OMG. imagine if this were true, though???? i could literally never go on a shortie cruise

i agree that FLL is a dink dink* airport BUT it is always easy to navigate and clean. (my thoughts on that other florida airport are WELL documented )
but i wouldn’t necessarily consider EWR a smaller airport?
…oh but united is my airline and EWR is a united hub. so it might be smaller for southwest and other non-united flights.
but i agree with everyone; flights are insane. we usually use points or a combo of points and $$ to offset the cost a bit.
