If you cancel, do it before 8/29 so you don’t get hit with cancellation fees.

LOL we had to cancel our anniversary cruise out of Galveston for the end of August.  Missed it by a week looks like.  But we do have another one scheduled for February.  We might actually make that one looks like!

This is one reason why I always prepay my gratuities as early as possible.  Not only will my CC bill be smaller at the end of the cruise but I also don't have to worry about unexpected increases. 
 

It'll be a moot point in November with Allure since there won't be any Grand Cayman itineraries after that for the foreseeable future.  I suspect they thought the hassle of the few cruises left with that itinerary was much less than the hassle of delaying allowing unvaccinated for a few more months out of Galveston.

I hope Royal follow soon..its a huge stress and risk for anyone who has to travel to cruise. Never mind the huge financial implications!

I get it, Matt. But it's very disrespectful that I type a sincere response to a post and for multiple people to laugh at it due to idiotic political rhetoric. That's antagonistic. If you're trying to maintain the standards of this forum, you should start there.

This has nothing to do with cruising.  If you want to give your freedoms up then by all means move to Europe.

Gosh, it may be a new Royal Caribbean policy:
 - you can pick your cabin but can't keep your cabin.
Hopefully, everyone will be assigned a cabin they can deal with for the length of their cruise and still have a great time! After all, you're still on a cruise!
