Watched that movie last night for the same reason -- never been on Harmony, but yeah, was just wanting to see the ship and locations -

I’ll call my friend who was a former hotel director for Royal and pick his brain. He’s currently HD for a river cruise line here in the states but stays in contact with his RC peeps. Of course he felt we’d be good by October but we all know now that isn’t happening.

Your very first signs will also be when we can gather in larger groups again. That has to happen on land before it can happen at sea.

DH and I decided that we wanted the CP moneys back on the card, as we weren't sure we'd spend that amount again on our next cruise (already purchased drink pkg at a reasonable price), so we instructed our TA to do nothing -- not to ask for the CP money as the 125% deferred amount -- and we did nothing -- which, to my mind, meant we would get it back on the card eventually.  (Cancelled cruise we for the end of this month.)  About 10 days ago, I get a cheerful email from Royal congratulating me on my 125% CP credit, that we could start applying to our next cruise!!
Messaged the TA - Did you ask for this when we got our 125% FCC? No -- so luckily for us, she spent time on the phone with Royal to get it straightened out.  No idea how long that will take...

Yes, but if I remember correctly, the salad portion was made inside an enclosed area (this was several years ago, not sure if that's changed), and you just pointed to what you wanted & it was made for you, so that could still be done.  The

Our favorite thing was that they assigned us the same waiter, no matter which table we sat at-- so he knew our preferences, and also went above and beyond for our disabled DD.  She always got shrimp cocktail, and after seeing that we had to take it out of the tall glass, and remove the tails for her, he made arrangements to bring it out on a flat plate, tail off.
Also, after watching us cut up her food for her each time, he took to doing that for her as well, so that our dinners didn't get cold, and we didn't have to shuffle plates around.  He was well tipped on our last night.
We went 7 times on our 12 night cruise (MDR 1st night @ MTD, which was a disaster)specialty dining for 3, and 1 night we couldn't get a reservation). Next time we are on Anthem, we are definitely reserving as early as possible.

We have a lot that opened today, but they put a pause on indoor dining because of the rise in cases down south.
Celebrity has no remaining sailings out of Bayonne for 2020.

I swallow them whole, so just get the garlic butter flavor, and then dip the bread in the remaining butter.
Several years ago, we were on Explorer & were so disappointed to see that they were not available -- I believe the tsunami from a few years earlier had wiped out the snail beds.  It was our DDs' first cruise, and for years, when they were younger, when they asked what was for dinner, we would tease them that it would be "snails on toast", and so we wanted to get them to try the snails.  They did eventually get to try them 2 years ago on Adventure, and I believe they were available 2 or 3 nights of our 7 day cruise then.

Sigh. I just want to live in a world where this isn't our every day talk. I'm fine with a new normal. I'll wear masks if I need to. I'll learn to not touch my face as much. I just want to have this not be every topic of conversation.
@JLMoran I don't mean to be a jerk on your post. This is valid information and I'm not directing my jerkiness at you.

Yup, was still holding out hope for our July 29, but now that's gone. And it's a 10 day, so no equivalent L&S available -- at least not out of the 3 ports I can drive to (flying is too complicated for us- mobility issues).  So, we're applying to our next cruise (hopefully!!) and will just be sad this summer ?

We're on the Adventure 10 day late July cruise (out of Bayonne), so my fingers are still crossed that July 24 is the correct start date!!  Of course, I still have to get my vacation time approved (I applied for it on Aug 1 of last year, informing them that it was a scheduled cruise that already had a deposit, but my dept sucks at approving anything that far in advance), and the summer schedule just came out with me on it for those days.  They haven't been denied officially, but they're not approved yet either, and it's complicated by the fact that I work in a hospital and am considered an essential employee, so all vacations are currently on hold for now.  We can still cancel up to 48 hrs before, but I'm really hoping to go on this cruise...

To add to what JimnKathy said, AO usually is open house during embarkation day, so parents can go along with their children to explore the facility and speak to the staff. This would give your daughter a chance to familiarize herself with the room her age group will be using and meet some of the staff in your company and without any pressure on her to actually stay there. This will hopefully make her enthusiastic and excited about going along to the meet and greet session for her age group later on in the day.
Details of the time of that all-important first session will be in the Compass. Note that there is a separate AO compass for the different age groups so be sure to pick one up from Guest Services if you don't get given one at embarkation.
