Grandeur and Rhapsody For Sale?
RoyalGreek replied to Southern Dan's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I know they can’t keep these forever, I just wish they would refresh them some and keep sailing them until a replacement ship is launched. Love that class of ship!! -
You are better off in an AIR B&B in Ravanna. Here is one we stayed at for 2 nights with 4 adults. Great location and a really nice property.

This is the crazy price I see for Anthem this summer. A head scratcher, for sure. -
Grandeur and Rhapsody For Sale?
Southern Dan replied to Southern Dan's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Maybe this is why they are leaving Radiance and Serenade available following the summer 2025 schedule in case they sell one/both? -

How many Insider subs would it take to make a down payment. Perpetual group cruise?! -
I Think It’s Time For a Travel Agent!
Traveling Mike replied to BrianB's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
No I don't get that service but that is not what I need. I agree to stay away from most big box companies. Costco Travel is not for everyone but it is good for me. I only need a company that is going to take care of my changes and problems. I am on the computer every day so i do all the monitoring and personal service. When I have issues Costco reps are paid by the hour so they will stay on the phone for days to make sure I am taken care of. For someone like me it works because I get the rebate and I take care of the personal service. -

Ponta Delgada wine tasting excursion
PPPJJ-GCVAB replied to NatalieDoreen's topic in Shore Excursions
If you are booked on the Odyssey from Bayonne April27,2025 FYI I started a Roll Call when I booked this cruise. I’m hoping others will let us know if they are cruising with us! -
We did this tour through ship excursion and loved it. Tour guide was fantastic Beer and food also great. Group was split up for tours and it was very informative. Owners story is great. We would definitely go back.

Just stumbled across this, first time hearing about it although Grandeur was scheduled to go bye-bye prior to the pandemic... https://www.instagram.com/ssship_cruisenews/p/C6cH2jiuTo_/?img_index=1

When we sailed from Ravenna last fall, we booked transportation through the B&B owner. At 40€, it was more expensive than the Royal Caribbean shuttle, but it was drop dead simple….worth every cent we paid.

Cocktail Recipes on Royal Caribbean Ships
Fastfaller replied to PG Cruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
I am a bit suspect of some of these.... I made a "Papa Jac" with Bacardi 8, passion fruit and lime and it wasn't close to the same thing I was served onboard. I really want to recreate the Labadoozy, but finding papaya puree is a chore. Also, what brand mixers is RC using, because it will make a huge difference. My next experiment will be the desert pear margarita... It was a favorite of my wife. -
I checked and cruise planner shows exact same price as yesterday, just a different % off banner. I really hope they get a class action lawsuit against them one day for false advertising. It could be a multi billion dollar payout to anyone who has ever booked something through their website. Other companies have been hit with with them for way less deceptive advertising, not sure how they continue to get away with this.

Hi! Is anyone familiar with the all inclusive VIP Villas in Nassau? I didn't notice this option before. It is $808 USD. It says it's per person but I'm assuming it's per group (I hope). Any reviews? Is it worth it?

This happened on Adventure last week. They were offering 30% off. We already had specialty lunches booked so we weren't interested in additional meals. -
MARGARITAVILLE or BAHA MAR…Which one to choose!
JC-LC replied to PPPJJ-GCVAB's topic in Shore Excursions
I visited both resorts with family - Margaritaville in 2022 and Baha Mar in 2023. - Margaritaville is less expensive and a short walk from the pier (did not go through RCL). The water park is small, but fun to hang around for the day. Beach was nice. Food was pricey. - Baha Mar excursion was more than Margaritaville (but less than Atlantis) --- I booked through RCL -- with transportation included. BIG water park! We loved the many slides and the wave pool --- beach seemed small. Food was expensive, BUT a lunch was included. Try the Mediterranean chicken wrap -- it was incredible. Both are good -- if you are looking for laid back/relaxing -- Margaritaville will check the boxes and not break the bank. Baha Mar is larger and a lot more to do. (I never visited Atlantis, so I cannot compare). -

Royal sends people around offering discounted dining reservations and the waitstaff in their restaurants will also make pitches when bookings are low. -

When the bottom falls out of specialty dining package purchases, maybe there will be a specialty dining card trotted out mid cruise, like the 10 drink card?
