David Wallner
We are going on the Liberty of Seas in June. What I want to know will they still be going to Roatan after the damage to the port in early April?
tiny260
This is another blog basically discussing the same thing, @Matt mentions towards the bottom that nothing has been cancelled yet, but that is a week old.

tiny260
You will have to call Royal Caribbean for that, these pages and discussion threads are opened and supported by Royal Caribbean enthusiast, the blog has no control over what Royal does or doesn't do. Well, @Matt might, but none of the rest of us do... ABFrenchie and Lovetocruise2002
Matt
No cruise stops on any cruise line have been affected (yet). So there's no news to share, because nothing has changed. If/when a stop is cancelled, I'll be sure to post about it.
twangster
I don't think Royal is in a position to know themselves right now. First they need to clear the debris then they need to start construction. They had been planning to add onto the pier to allow more than one ship to tie up. This will likely impact how that planned addition is implemented. Either way it's not in Royal's hand, it's the local port authority to determine the schedule. Construction equipment of the required nature isn't plentiful in the Caribbean. This type of equipment is often booked out for months and years in advance. They can bring it in from a far at a higher cost or live with a longer project plan. All up to the port authority and how much the MSC insurance company fights the settlement. This keep getting talked about, but, no one has been showing the aftermath. Good to see that it's had fairly minimal impact to stops there. DunkelBierJay
I'm amazed the Armonia didn't have more extensive keel damage after that with those rocks being so close to where she ran aground... WAAAYTOOO

Apparently the keel is as thick as her Captain's head. SouthernYankee, J_Keeble and DunkelBierJay
