RCIfan1912
I'm just curious what is the most expensive shore excursion offered by Royal Caribbean that is you have ever seen? There is one on my October to Canada/New England cruise for 349 per person on some train trip. Kids under 5 aren't even allowed which I find odd. What have you seen? FionaMG
Depends on where you are (and assuming you're not counting the infamous cabanas on Coco Cay). Excursions in Europe are typically more expensive than in the Caribbean, for example. This is the most expensive one on the Anthem cruise I have booked for later this year: RCIfan1912, MaryS, berkeleykel and 2 others
OCSC Mike
Alaska excursions that involve helicopters or small planes are up there. We didn't book through RC (except one we had to replace last minute due to weather) and I don't want to try to remember what that trip cost, lol, but it was worth it. RCIfan1912
525 per person! Wow! That's pretty crazy. I can imagine those helicopter excursions are super expensive.
KristiZ
On my Odyssey TA there’s currently a “Intimate Cinque Terre - Small Group” tour on sale for $819.99 JLMoran and RCIfan1912

Ryan79
There was an excursion in Juneau last year that was $1000pp, but cannot remember for the life of me what it was. It involved either a plane or a helicopter. RCIfan1912 and OCSC Mike 1

The more expensive excursions we did were likely flying around Denali in a small plane, taking a helicopter up onto a mountain glacier to go dog sledding, and taking a helicopter onto a glacier to hike and ice climb. billdauterive
New high score(s) There's also plenty in the $700-$999 range. I'm pretty confident nothing will beat these except potentially something in Europe. WAAAYTOOO, RCIfan1912, FionaMG and 1 other 1

OCSC Mike
Yep, those are the ones. We did the Skagway glacier dog sledding through Royal b/c the one we had booked during our pre-cruise land portion was cancelled due to weather and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't book anything directly at the last minute. I even figured out the company RC was using but their remaining slots were held by RC. 2 minutes ago, RCIfan1912 said: That is bonkers! Yeah, there's obviously plenty to do and see in Alaska without doing those types of excursions... but we treated this as a once in a lifetime type trip as a dual-40th b-day celebration and uncharacteristically went all out... then returned to frugally sailing around the Caribbean in interiors like you normally see me talking about, lol. billdauterive
Just for comparison, here's the most expensive Mexico ones I could find. And most expensive Bahamas: I don't have any Eastern or Southern Caribbean booked at the moment so I can't compare those prices. Ryan79
This is by far the most expensive excursion for my upcoming eastern Caribbean cruise in December. The next most expensive is half this cost and the vast majority are under $100 TessFromFlorida

VeronicaS1970
Yep those Alaska excursions are. We paid over $1700 for 4 of us for the float plane in Ketchikan this May, that was on Black Friday sale.
