Fastfaller
Does anyone know If WOW bands are available on Symphony? I keep hearing different things. I am sailing April 20th and would really like the bands for my kids who would have a tendency to lose their card if they are carrying it around. Thanks, Chris

RCIfan1912
They were available last week on Anthem so I'd imagine they are on Symphony.
FionaMG
I saw people wearing them on Symphony last month and actually found one that someone had dropped which I handed in to GS. PPPJJ-GCVAB

Haha... The point of me getting them for my kids is so they won't drop and lose their cards. Would be ironic if they lost their wow band. Thanks for all the responses. PPPJJ-GCVAB
Very happy to hear this! I’m assuming there will be a charge if not in a suite…$5? So worth it for the 6 kiddos that will be on the cruise with me in 68 days crazy . RCIfan1912

PPPJJ-GCVAB
Heck…whatever it is (as long as not crazy $$) I think it will be worth it. I might even purchase one for myself! RCIfan1912
RCIfan1912
Actually I was right. Not too bad a price I think. I was actually going to one last week on Anthem but never got around to it, just to see how it worked. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/what-are-royal-caribbean-wow-bands PPPJJ-GCVAB

Or some of those little elastic hair bands to wrap around a few times. RCIfan1912
Gilley
I bought one on Anthem. I think I’m going to give it to my grandson, to use on our Icon cruise. Think or hoping this will work better than the seapass card for him. RCIfan1912

Unfortunately Liberty is our next 3 cruises and WOW bands wouldn't work on her.
Gilley
It’s my understanding that it will only work on ships that have wow bands on them. I thought I read that Icon will have wow bands. So I’m packing mine just in case . RCIfan1912
WAAAYTOOO
I seem to recall that as long as your old WOW band doesn’t have a muster station on it, you can have it reprogrammed on a different sailing….obviously so long as the ship has/uses WOW bands. Some of the original WOW bands had a muster station printed on them (they discontinued this at some point) so those can’t be reused. JasonOasis
I was on Symphony this past January and yes they had wow bands at guest services. Also you can save your wow bands and reuse them on future cruises all you have to do is bring the band to guest services and they'll reprogram it for you. So its no longer a one and done type situation. WAAAYTOOO, RCIfan1912 and PPPJJ-GCVAB
GaryAA
I was on the Symphony February 10-18th, bought one at Guest Services for $10. I was in a GS so they are not free for suite guests. Orchids, JasonOasis, RCIfan1912 and 1 other

If you are at a bar you can usually just tap your band, while wearing it, on the little pad they have. If you order from a server, you'll have to hand the actual band to them Mrs. Thomas

Are there other colors of bands and do you get to choose? Midwest Cruiser

Midwest Cruiser
I believe you can get the WOW bands in Black, Blue, and White. Purpleish/Pink is Star Class only. The WOW bands worked great for us on the ship. You still will need to use the Seapass Card to get off at port stops. Yes they can be reprogramed for future cruises on ships with that tech(Oasis class except Allure, Quantum, and Icon). Orchids
Stldave
Currently on Symphony. They were selling/reprograming them at Boleros on embarkation day. They are 9.99 to buy and free to reprogram. I heard someone ask and was told that you can go to Guest Services and put a daily dollar limit on purchases for the kids RCIfan1912 and Orchids
