Matt
Spotted in a new video by RC that shows off how the company designs ships This is the VR lab. Looks to me like a VR rendering of the new pier at Cococay? DocLC
monorailmedic
They seem to be below the water line. Project Icon == Submarines WAAAYTOOO, RestingBird and Gears
WAAAYTOOO
That looks like a pier to you ? I must be looking at something else ! Maybe it's the still shot that's throwing me.... RestingBird
WAAAYTOOO
Yeah, I went back and looked at the video again and in a different frame I can see where you come up with the pier idea. I think you're right.

MikeK
Just out of curiosity does RC ever dock more than one ship at a time at Labadee or CocoCay? I have been to Labadee a number of times but never CocoCay

I have been to Labadee a number of times but never CocoCay I've wondered the same thing. I can't see 2 ship's worth of people being able to fit at either destination. On second thought, maybe 2 smaller ships. I'm also hoping they don't ruin the far end of Coco Cay with the pier and water park.
SouthernYankee
We have been to Labadee when there were two ships docked. Can't remember which ship we were on but do remember the other ships was the Grandeur of the Seas. BrianAlt
BrianAlt
We were docked on Oasis with Freedom! That's a lot of people! it was crowded, but manageable. RestingBird
Matt
I know they have had two ships in Labadee on the same day, but I don't recall if that's occurred in CocoCay
KLA
We shared Coco Cay with Empress when I was there on Majesty back on February. There were different areas to board the tender when you were returning to the ship.
Matt
I spy with my little eye a look at the CocoCay pier and the water slides! Here's the source video.

When I was there in at the end of August there was a group of pilings farther west (left) outside the limits of this drawing. They were dredging in the envelope shown and there is a large number of pilings near shore exactly as illustrated. Makes me wonder what the other pilings are for. CyclingVa
maybe the other pilings are for a smaller dock for jet ski rentals, parasail boats etc... Kinda like labadee
jticarruthers
Definitely progressing, just off Enchantment yesterday and there was one group of pilings near shore, another off to the west and they had several barges clustered along the "pier line" shown in the diagram working on another set of pilings. PocketsRN
Any ideas about when it's supposed to be completed?

I believe there are new buildings and such that will take longer than that, but ships are supposed to start using it before the whole project is 100% complete.
