jagbirder
I read on another post that there is a "non-US" electrical socket in the stateroom. Does anyone know if it is 110V or 220V, and what country's plug configuration? I've got the adapters, but hate to have to take the whole batch. Thanks! I use this adaptor to plug in my autovolt USB charger (110-220V) https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/electrical-voltage-onboard

Bakerette
There is at least 1 U.S electrical outlet in every cabin that is 110V. Also in every cabin the plug that is next to the US electrical outlets is Is a European style outlet which is 220V.
L454S
Yeah, like Rated PG says, don't waste that Euro outlet. Get one of these(3 USB chargers), really work well. wllm1969, FireFishII, Dan05 and 1 other 2 1

Traveler
Yes , it's 220 V , do not try to plug the hair dryer to it with some adapter, it will not end well

I'm not so sure about frequencies - 60Hz vs 50 Hz. Traveler

jagbirder
Thanks, everyone, for your helpful comments. I have settled on this one from Amazon. It also has a nightlight for those 4am nature calls! https://www.amazon.com/LENCENT-Charger-Universal-Adaptor-Worldwide/dp/B07TZHN5J3/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=usb+charger+plug+with+night+light&qid=1570926891&sr=8-
Zootius
Just had a lovely cruise on Wonder of the Seas. Just wanted to share what electrical options were in our stateroom (balcony room on deck 10). So, under the main mirror opposite the sofa-bed: 2 EU-type power sockets 3 US-type power sockets 2 USB sockets Then on each side of the double bed, a lamp with extra power sockets: 1 USB Socket 1 US-type socket - seen here powering my excellent Lowenstein sleep-apnea CPAP machine which fitted nicely on the bedside table like it was made for it! If you're interested, we fast-charged our USB devices using this excellent Lencent pass-thru plug charger: https://www.amazon.co.uk/LENCENT-Extension-Household-Appliances-Smartphone/dp/B08FC48VYN

As a retired electrical utility Coop, Meter Tech, I can tell you that the voltage you get at your sockets in your home has an acceptable variance rate of XX%. I just can't remember the exact % that is allowable and it varies between electrical companies/local/state regulations. However, the 110v vs 120v or 230v vs 240v falls well within that variance %. So, I wouldn't worry about a 10 volt difference. If you hair dryer says that it is 120v or 240v, it's good. But, I think, these days newer appliances, large or small, show 120v or 240v.
