The Cruise Junkie
I Was On Mine Last Cruise And I Was Having A Meal With An Officer And It Was The Hotel Head Person And He Said That Royal Will Announced In A Few Weeks A New Perfect Day Location Some In The World. I Hope This Is True Because I Really Want It To Happen. Oh Well Only Time Will Tell. bhageerah, Traveler and Skid
bhageerah
This is going to be interesting to follow! You now have me wondering where its going to be, and if it will be the same as CocoCay or better! The Cruise Junkie
Pima1988
I recall reading about 9 mos ago that RCCL was considering doing a Coco Cay Island for their Australian cruises. The only reason that it stuck in my mind is we had just come back from Australia (land vacation) a few weeks earlier and I saw Ovation (?) in port at the Quay while we were there that week. Andrew72681
Selfishly I hope for Labadee. That way they could take half the ships east and half the ships west in the Caribbean and have “Perfect Day” stop. rjac
A "Perfect Day" for me us is when the ship is in port and the majority of folks get off the ship and we have the ship all to ourselves! jticarruthers
Nassau on Saturday would have been your perfect day then Deserted on Mariner ... unfortunately to the point they only had 1 bartender working for the whole pool deck (both levels) The Cruise Junkie

I doubt that they will but it definitely would be nice, Labadee is nice but it is honestly a port that I would almost rather stay on the ship. Last time we were there about 7 years ago it was ok, but not our favorite port. The Cruise Junkie

But with her being 8 Labadee doesn’t compare to CocoCay. The Cruise Junkie
StayFrosty
Up until recently, there were people on this board that were heaping praise upon how Labadee was so much better than CocoCay. How the tables have turned! The Cruise Junkie and Mike P 1

Matt
After speaking with RC about Perfect Day, while they would not talk of what's next, it does seem that the success of CocoCay has increased the drive to get the other islands (including Labadee) moving perhaps faster than before. That was my take on what I was hearing. JennyB, The Cruise Junkie and RestingBird

Indybleu
Perhaps Freeport may be a candidate somehow, too. Rccl heavily investing there.

I’m wondering how big of a dock they could be on the land that was the Lucayan resort. Not being an expert I’m not sure if they could get deep enough water for Oasis class vessels. Perhaps Oasis class ships go there and smaller boats go to freeport.
