I called this morning and the information isn't out yet. They told to call back in a couple of days.

They are very disorganized lol. I called last week to book my summer sizzle offer. While I was on the phone I asked when we would be able to book the yearly prime benefit. They said oh on April 8th everyone will be able to book it.. Its now April 11th and obviously thats not the case.

@dodgestang I'm glad you said that. I initially though "free shipping AND a free cruise? Cool"

@twangster and @WAAAYTOOO, ever since the both of you talked about side to side cruises I wanted to do one. I am going to connect this free cruise to another one.

Husband and I finished our first cruise a few weeks ago and both ended up Prime. They gave us each a free cruise certificate. Is the certificate we received onboard the free annual cruise you are referring to in this thread?  Thanks!

No, thats in addition to the free yearly prime cruise.

Hi all. I am new to the forum, but have followed it for a while.

Me and my girlfriend are both prime and want to book our next cruise in July. However, the sail dates we would like, are starting to get sold out. I have been in contact with Royal Casino multiple times to ensure we could book as soon as we recieved our free cruise codes.

Firstly they said 1st of April, but that didnt happen. Then they said 8th of April. Still nothing. Now a week later, they wont even give us a date. They just tell us they are working on it.

It's very frustrating when you see the cruise you want slip away. They said its mainly because the are working on getting the points right for their guest on March cruises. Fair enough, but it makes no sense that the ones who secured prime status a long time ago has to wait for this. They could simply issue them at seperate times instead of waiting to issue all at the same time.

Morten, I agree completely...

My situation is that we booked the cruise we wanted to have the cabin we wanted and apply the certificate later.   I owe the full cruise fare tomorrow or it will be canceled. If it cancels, I lose my deposit.  If I pay in full I cant use my prime certificate.  So, its lose thousands either way.  If you can't do what you say your are going to do, then at least make some accommodations for your loyal customers.

Here is to hoping they are issued tomorrow!

Not Amazon Prime....just in case.

Prime is 2nd level if the Casino Royal player program that is based on how much time you spend gambling in their casino onboard and every wager.  It isn't too hard to make Prime...I did it in one cruise and I don't think I gamble alot 😉

that's what i first thought

Well, I guess it helped to let out a little steam 🙂 My girlfriends offer was on clubroyaleoffers.com this morning! Mine was not however, which is strange (we earned the status on the same cruise, and our crown and anchor numbers are only 7 numbers apart). Also, she didn't receive an email or any notification. Actually, in the 3 years we have been members of the club, we have never received a single email from them. But... I am just happy something is happening and I am sure mine is on the way. Finally 🙂

And regarding booking the cruise in advance, I was advised not to do it, since we want to cruise in July, and as you said, you risk not being able to redeem the offer if you get to close to the sail date.

And DrRyan, you got yours just in time. Good for you!

I gamble a lot and have never received a free cruise. Guess I better move up to the nickle slots! 🤣🤣

It may not be worth chasing the free cruise which I think starts at 2400 points in one sailing.  However, my wife took 2 cruises last year and accumulated 2500 points total from those cruises which gave here prime status.  So, we now have a free cruise certificate for her as well.

I booked our Prime cruises for this year months ago and have been paying on them ever since.   I will reprice them using the certificates.  We are doing the B2B Star Class on Anthem again.

Star Class is on my bucket list.  Right now we have 3 kids so the only star class we fit in is the 2 bedroom aqua theater suite which is beyond my reach.  Enjoy the star class for me, WAAAYTOOO!

I will be interested in what you find for pricing.  I called this morning and used to getting around a 60% discount off the total price to upgrade rooms.  When I called this morning to upgrade my prime certificate to a Grand Loft Suite, the discount was only 30%....needless to say, I am going to wait to see if pricing is better in a month or so.  It seems like the upgrade pricing is not as good as last year so I would love to see if you find the same.

Yes, you have to be a dedicated gambler BUT it does pay off...if you early the free certificates and are rated at least at the Prime level (a free cruise every year that you are eligible).

As Traveler said, it's pretty straight forward for slots player but a little more difficult to quantify for table players (like we are).  You just put your butt in a chair at a table and stay there for hours on end.  Pretty easy !  LOL

and hope they correctly identify your average bet and number of hands played.  I know they use a light sensor with a chip to count craps, but in my time at the table, there were definitely instances where they forgot to do it.  sometimes they would flip it a few times to make up for the time they missed, sometimes not.

I spoke with one of the hosts on my cruise to try to figure out the system. I was earning points quickly at blackjack but my husband was lagging behind, similar average bet. The difference between us was the side bet. Host said that the new points system gives tons of points for the sidebet. Sure enough once he started throwing $5 on the side bet, his points rose quickly.  We got more points for the side bet than we did high average bet per hand. Definitely a weird system and not Vegas-like at all.

Nothing about Royal's "point system" makes much sense lol but, thank you for the tip. I am going to try this and see if it helps me gain points.. Really I just want to make sure I get another 2,500 points to keep my status and after that I don't care as much.
