I spent some time, moments ago to see if there is anything about this in the FAQ.  What I can find is that you must have a SeaPass card to make purchases at Starbucks, to purchase tickets at Cococay, to get on and off of the ship at Cococay.  But, you will not find policies about the use of the SeaPass card, etc.

Back of the card makes it very clear: For your security, you will be asked to show this card at the gangway, when re-boarding the ship and when making purchases throughout the ship. Please keep this card with you throughout the cruise. If lost or found, notify the Guest Services Desk immediately.

One could argue that this means that every purchase will require the card. However, I'm sure some discretion is given. Example embarkation day you'll typically be asked for room number until late in the afternoon.

Finally, you'd also think the person getting charged and signing would verify details. However, I'll admit I don't pay much attention myself to the receipts when signing.

  2. On Anthem in 2017 it wasn't an issue getting a roll away bed in the Grand Loft. Space wise, hopefully booked is one of the middle lofts. I personally feel it would be real tight to have a roll away in one of the corner lofts.

Comfort wise, I didn't find any issues after a long day of exploring, eating, and drinking. Only issue had to do with sudden movements and the bed deciding to collapse.

What they also need to be doing is outfitting the roaming bar waiters with RFID readers.  Having to take off the bands all the time to order a drink, made this tech a one and done for me.

My feeling too. Some reason I want to say when Quantum first started sailing they tried using tablets. However, true to form, Royal IT wasn't the best at implementing tablet based service.

Sure things have changed since. Know on CocoCay they have the are using tablets at the bars. Plus on Wonder over at The Mason Jar Bar roaming waiters were using them.

    Is there a suite line?

Yes, terminal 18 at Port Everglades has a suite entrance for security screening. Just verify your SetSail pass shows "Suite". In addition I believe Suite guests have a check-in line.

    Or diamond line

Don't think entry to the terminal has anything separate for Diamond/Diamond Plus. I think at the check-in decks they did have a separate line.

I have read somewhere on the RC site and seen a flyer that has "complimentary Alcohol" from 11.30am - 11pm (beer/Wine) for Suite guests - through the Concierge Club.  Can anyone verify that this is correct on Quantum?

Quantum class wouldn't have the beer/wine/soda/water perk. Just the already mentioned cocktail hour.

The asked about perk is only offered on Oasis class ships.

Ours was not on Harmony last month.  We had to go to the Pub to pick them up.

Last couple times we cruised (both since the restart), I got my cups at the pool bar when we boarded.  I suspect pretty much any bar will have them.

This has been my experience as well. Had to request a cup at a bar.

Think so many were being left unused in staterooms a decision was made to make them upon request.

Yup, I had to go get a new one (from the concierge!) cuz I accidentally peeled that film off.  All the cards were blue, regular cards had the Royal logo on them & ours looked like this but certainly not a noticeable difference.

    Same way on Wonder...

Lighter blue Royal logo card for "regulars", teal for Sea class, blue for Sky class, purple for Star class, and finally the Pinnacle folks with a gold card.

Just wondering, do you know that the refund will be in the form of an OBC or credited back to your C.C.  As Star Class, I don't need an OBC.

Refundable OBC, unused OBC would go back to the card on file with the on-board account. Other option could be asking the last night for cash from Guest Services.

Also, non-refundable OBC is used before refundable OBC.

Ugh.  Sorry to have this rumor confirmed. Did the Genie give you any reason for this ?  Is it just got CT and IH ?

Exact quote from the Genie: If you wish to enjoy Hibachi and/or Chef’s Table experiences, my recommendation is to book it through Cruise Planner to secure a place, as we are only able to make your reservations one day prior the sailing, once Cruise Planner is closed. Kindly note the charges will be refunded once onboard.

  10. Only data point I can provide. I had gotten a $100 off certificate from play earlier this year. Asked my TA if it could be applied to a sailing that was being moved due to Royal's cancellation. Was told in order to apply it would have to be treated as a new booking, this would have resulted in loss of a credit that has been applied due to the booking being cancelled once already on Royal's part and loss of the double point promotion.

Quote from TA: I spoke with Casino about applying your Casino offer. They are a funny department to deal with and things have changed about how they do things. They said if they apply the Jan Instant Rewards they will have to rebook the booking at prevailing rates. They said this would mean you would lose your $200 onboard credit for the redeployment AND you would lose your double points.
