I'll be on the Edge in a Sky Suite on Sunday.

They're supposed to charge a corking fee, but it usually doesn't happen.  (Your mileage may vary.)

As for the, "one and done," aspect of the post...

I believe that many people come here believing that they can vent directly to Royal by posting here.  We know better, of course.  But many have no clue.  They never intended to come back.  It doesn't matter what we say, positive or negative, they're never coming back.

I believe they will accommodate a do-your-own if you like.  I would ask in advance.

I wouldn't go so far as to say, "meh!"  But I understand the sentiment.  I think it's good, but it's not specialty restaurant good.  I appreciate the more personalized service.  It's nice having a private dining space.  I enjoy it, but it's not like I'm blown away.

Yes, similar.  But not the same.  They are wonderful.  And, yes, packages are offered. Tuscan Grille - Italian grill, Murano - Continental French, and Le Petit Chef - animated dinner are the offerings on Eclipse. All are worth it.

Martini Bar is the place to be.  Sunset Bar, outside at the back of the ship above the buffet, is fantastic.  They often have a guitar player or small band out there.

Celebrity is GREAT.  Still feels a lot like Royal, just a bit elevated.

If you've never been, it's worth it. It's fun! And the prices at the bar aren't insane.  Sure, higher than other places, but not break the bank expensive.  Have a snack and a couple of drinks.  After all, you're on vacation!

That’s what I have too. I have a feeling it’s a placeholder and we will have a card in our cabin for the actual date/time. But if it’s actually scheduled for day 1 at 5:30, I guess I’ll just go with it.

The water taxi is about a 5 minute walk. Less than 10 for sure. 

Ok. I just changed this situation. 5-night cruise from Bayonne to Bermuda on Adventure this summer.

Maho is more about watching the planes, not so much about enjoying the beach. 

Been to Maho Beach a couple of times.  Definitely a fun thing to do during a visit.

It probably is sold out in the Planner, but a good chance you'll be able to book it onboard.  Yes, Edge in April.

Actually, maybe I’m wrong?  This is true on Royal. I have this booked too on my upcoming Celebrity cruise. I’ll make sure.

Snorkeling wasnt as good as our first time due to silty water and the hurricane a few years ago but was still enjoyable. Also had three beach stops and some nice speedboating. Ended up watching some planes come in at 3:30 as well as watching the Delta takeoff at that time. Lunch (sandwiches, chips, all you want to drink included).

I think you can be on the beach while others are in the water park, no problem.  This is just out in the water, not in a closed off area like the water park in Coco Cay.
