According to my Apple watch and iPhone, I walked an average of 15,000 steps while on board and 25 floors of stairs.Β My peak steps were while at port in Juneau for 24,000 steps.
Wow, looks like you really "stepped" out, good job!

Repeat steps 3 and 4 until bottle(s) are empty.
6. Buy more bottles on the ship.
7. Repeat steps 3 through 6.
Be sure to wear a fitbit to count your steps. Got to get those 10,000 steps somehow on a cruise ship!

A few years ago, the Falmouth mayor's wife was abducted and murdered. I did not venture outside of the fence and do not care to be outside the gate unless it is on a Royal excursion.Β

Just remember......there's no crying in baseball and there is absolutely no crying allowed on disembarkation day!

Here's a link that might help everyone:Β Plan Your Trip to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. We will be in Orlando April 11th next year and will do one of the recommended itineraries. We're off the ship at 1:00 pm and have to be back on by 8.00 pm/ Unfortunately, KSC closes at 6:00 pm. That means no lolly gagging at the exhibits. Shopping and dining, I don't think so, have to pay for it. There's a cruise ship waiting for us that full of free eats!Β

Mayo on a hot dog or sausage???? Β
Must be a Connecticut thing. Kind of like shrimp and grits in the South.Β

Do you all remember how cassette tapes had a side a and a side b? It only makes sense that they were replaced by cd.

We had lunch at Giovanni's this Feb. Excellent food and service. The view, however, was lacking. If you are seated next to a window or in the middle of the restaurant and look outside, all you will see is the bottom of the lifeboats. You can sit just outside the restaurant and people watch as you eat.Β

This past weekend my darling wife said she wanted to go somewhere expensive. So, I took her to the gas station, boy was she pissed of!

Ok, emailed them & they have room for us on the 9am - 1pm excursion. Β For those who have used them, how early should we plan to get off the ship? Β We are scheduled to dock at 8am so will we be able to get there in time?
I think so. The port in Bonaire is not that big. Ask them if they can pick you up at the ship. I went scuba diving in Bonaire in 2017 with a local scuba shop and the dive guide picked me up. Have a great time and just remember to keep breathing!

Very had to do with a vest on. I don't even try. Stay on the surface and enjoy the view, you'll tire yourself out REAl quickly if you try to submerge.......and that is not fun. All that thrashing around trying to submerge also has a tendency to attract predators like barracuda and sharks.Β

Old, short, fat, a mediocre swimmer.
They probably will give everyone a life jacket/vest. That's been my experience on previous snorkeling excursions. Stay away from the red coral, that's fire coral and will ruin your day very quickly. Be prepared for incredible underwater life and scenery. Oh, for mediocre swimmers they attach a tow rope to one of the excursion guides ().Β

Taking early July cruise on Wonder of Seas. What time is realistic disembark and take train to Rome? Β Do train tickets need to be purchased in advance or is day of OK?
Β
Thanks!
There is no cruise port in Rome. Civitavecchia is the closest port, it is 50 miles away and 40-50 minutes by train (IF it is on schedule). Figure in what time you can get off the ship and what time you have to be back on the ship and decide from there. I have been to Rome twice and stayed there both times. Even with that we didn't get to see all we wanted or shop where we wanted. Perhaps if you just want to see one or two attractions, then maybe.
How is the diving on Coco Cay
in Shore Excursions
Posted
The cruise planner for Coco Cay has two dives (sold out) as well as some snorkel excursions. Having been to Coco Cay, I do not know just how good scuba diving would be. It is shallow and did not appear to have a lot of underwater structure to hold any marine life. If you are going scuba diving at any other ports, then go for it. Hopefully some member here with more CC experience will chime in.Β
