It is some sort of an authorization number to assure quality standards for laboratories providing medical and health services. That's the way I understand it.

Here it is on a Walgreens test report:

No, but another question, does anyone check their app 50+ times a day hoping for a new cabin number? 😂 Guilty...

We are awaiting news about our RoyalUp bid.
Does anyone else waiting for news, who sees an email from Royal, especially with a title like "Special Message," have their heart skip a beat?
It seems like recently there has been an uptick in daily emails (and heart palpitations). It's almost like they are trying to induce more excitement. 🤣

Oh, did I misread this while scanning unread content... I thought it said "Make sure you look real good in them..."
I was afraid you were going to say there are "robe police" wandering the ship and they were going to make me go back and change...

In my experience with them, the Genies check in on you multiple times and always confirm everything multiple times, so changes are not a problem.

This assumes that you didn't delete that first document, because you couldn't imagine a world where a second opportunity for a Genie could come up. D'oh! 🤦‍♂️
Hmm.. I wonder if it's in my email history.

You will not regret the Genie or the ATS, although, you may find yourself spoiled for life. I can say we were...

Road Trip Update: Well, Thursday night was busy! I picked up the rental car, and as I walked up to the counter, I got an "Oh, you are the one looking for the van" and I thought to myself, oh that's not good. Turns out, the vans that were due to be returned that day didn't. We were hoping for a van, so that we wouldn't have to play Tetris with ourselves and luggage for the two day trip to Florida. We ended up with a fully loaded Ford Explorer. I'm loving the massaging seats!! This is making their road trip much more enjoyable. We are playing Tetris with the luggage a bit, but it's not horrible.

We left our house at 9am and hit the road. Traffic wasn't bad until we it the DC area. We diverted around DC and went over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge which was cool for an engineering nerd like me.
We all thought he looked like the creepy restaurant critic from Ratatouille, what does everyone think?

Later he looked like this...Even my neck hurts looking at this
    .
More to come, time to load up again!! Next stop Florida!!

This is a place for reasonable discussion of cruise ship news and rumors. Not a place to discuss your personal thoughts on Covid, vaccines, masks, and/or politics.
It's a simple rule because the moment it veers in that other direction, it just devolves into name calling, personal attacks, and divisive chatter.
We try to give a little leeway since inevitably there's some blurred lines when talking about cruise ship protocols, but if it goes too far, that's the end of it.
There's plenty of places to discuss Covid on the internet, but this isn't one of them.

Yes, my wife and I do put together a "care package" that includes mostly consumable stuff. We have found that scented bags/fresheners (Scentsy products are great!) for their lockers are especially appreciated since the crew areas can get a little rank at times and it is something they don't think about ahead of time. Hand gels/creams, lip balm, etc. are awesome and easy to bring in our carry-ons. Unisex socks is a great idea, too. And we usually tuck a gift card in there. Starbucks cards can be useful on a ship with one (crew has to pay for the SB habits, too.). The bottom line is that they don't have a lot of space (so we avoid t-shirts, hats, etc.), but anything they can use (or trade or share with other crew members) are usually welcome.
I do occasionally bring chocolates from home (Colorado, so Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory or one of our local chocolatiers). But this can get challenging sometimes. If flying, don't put chocolates in your checked bag as it can sit in the heat on the tarmac. If you have a large quantity in your carry on, well, let's just say that TSA might take notice. While solid chocolate is supposed to be ok, filled chocolates can be confiscated if you get the wrong agent - they can be considered a gel, I guess. I know people on a cruise in 2003 that had a few pounds confiscated, but maybe they aren't so bad about it now. I have successfully brought 2 pounds through with only a quick inspection by TSA. Smaller quantities usually don't have issues.

This makes me laugh so hard.  After the booking the first, I told Hubby I just wanted to try it once.  We all know how that went!  I didn't delete the document 😉
