MotleyCruiser reacted to twangster in Brilliance stuck at sea, Port of Tampa fog
There is a heavy duty crane being setup beside the ship, presumably to lift the stage onto the pool deck. That’s going to take a while to load.

Howdy folks!!
It is that time of year for our annual trek to Miami for the Monsters of Rock Cruise out of Miami Florida. In past years the event has been held on Brilliance and Navigator. This year, like in years past, the cruise will be a 5 day action pack event featuring over 40 bands and solo acts from the heyday of hard rockin' 1980's

Today is our first and only sea day and to be honest the rest is needed, now understand why so many of you prefer the sea days.
Almost 8am and sitting in smoking area near pool, a rough guess over 50% of the chairs have already been claimed, towels and other items just left on them with very few people actually here.
This one was here at 6am and has not returned, it did cross my mind how funny it would be if the last page vanished ?

With the position I work at, the last two weeks have been extremely slow ((to the point that my new Samsung Smart Watch claims I was asleep for 3 hours on Wednesday!!)).
@Matt, coming here and reading and listening to this blog has been my saving grace...as it is every time I am stir crazy at work.
What is it about reading the Live Blogs, that is sooo stimulating, that you feel like you are on the cruise with them. Is it just me??

I always feel sweaty from the extreme humidity while being on the ocean and welcome any AC that is working properly.

Off topic, kind of, but tied into KJ1231's excursion posts.
I know that typically going through RCCL for excursions is more expensive than booking on your own. However, I am a "what if" kind of traveler, hence, why we also get traveler's insurance. Yes, it stinks to lose a port, but it would be worse to lose the money for an excursion if you did not read the fine print for the company you are using for the excursion. Going with RCCL would mean you automatically get refunded since they were not able to make it to the port.

MotleyCruiser reacted to tiny260 in Allure of the seas 9-16 Dec
I would assume that is correct, I have never been on a bridge tour on an O class but was just on one on Freedom, we meet at the very front elevator lobby on deck 10, the concierge took us all the way forward on the port side and then trough a secure door where you could tell it was officer cabins and then on through to the bridge. So the same logic would hold true for deck 12 on Allure.
