NAAT is accepted.  CBSA accepts NAAT.  I've used the free Walgreens Rapid ID NOW test (NAAT) to enter Canada twice as recent as a few days ago.  

I'm even MORE excited! Got our like for like cabin! It hasn't been priced protected yet, but @Sharlais on it! This is why a TA is worth their weight in Gold or should I say Pinacle bricks! Can't wait!!

The situation is ridiculous.  One thing after another.  My head is spinning trying to keep up.  Canada has made it so that the situation is so fluid you, never know when the next ball/hammer/whatever will drop.  There's always going to be something else and we have not sailed since August 2019.  Done with it. 
We are of the mindset that we will do everything we can to get on Allure this Sunday.  We are both two weeks past our boosters, we will take whatever precautions are necessary, but at the same time, I don't want keep cancelling.  The quarantine upon returns seems to be very hit and miss at this point.  @Jax and I both called CBSA, they don't even seem to want to commit to anything.
At this point, two things (covid related) will stop us from boarding on Sunday, we unknowingly test positive on Friday when we do our rapid antigen test, or the border closes on us.

I called Ontario's Provincial Vaccine Information line 888-999-6488.  I have called this number so many times to be turned away "you need to contact your public health"
connected with an agent,   you can tell by his voice and the manner he spoke, he knew what he was doing.  Awesome, a seasoned call center agent.
explained my situation and he emailed my wife's 1st dose information sheet.    I thanked him profusely..  Got off the phone and review the document in detail.  I spotted something...  her 1st dose information sheet mentions that she had received 2 valid doses.  So I replied back via email to the call center agent "David" of what i was seeing "1st & 2nd doses information sheets both says she has received 2 valid doses".  He replied back explaining the 1st dose information sheet was printed as of today with today's information. (2 valid doses).  So I printed the 1st dose information sheet and the email conversation with the call center agent(as backup).

I'm on odyssey and noticed some changes in the flowrider. It has a much longer Wipeout area and 3 ridges in the rider itself. It also feels narrow,  but I've never measured a flowrider to be sure.
The staff tell me these changes reduce injuries and will be rolled out to the fleet.

I have the AZ and Moderna, a combination which is not considered vaccinated by the CDC and therefore RCL.
We cancelled a cruise in Oct on Allure and our next is on Odyssey in Jan.  Hoping that final payment is extended so we can get a better idea what rules and protocols will be and not end up in the Refund / FCC carousel again.

I wondered the same but have also heard of no issues.  Just make sure that you bring both pdfs (first dose and second dose) as I heard they do look at both of them.

Apparently the US government cannot figure out how to safely open the border to a populous with much higher vaccination rates than their own with the announcement of border closure extension this morning. I will now have to fly from Vancouver to Seattle instead of doing the 2 hour drive.
 
Ironically I was at a football game here in Vancouver last night and there were several Americans in the seats in front of us. I spoke with them and they had driven across the border to attend the game (they were family and friends of one of the players) and were driving back across after the game. So it’s fine for Americans to come and mingle with Canadians and go back to the US, but vaccinated Canadians travelling to the US poses a threat?

Ive booked a B2B with a friend in november. She's a nurse and in Denmark all frontline personal got the 1. shot with astra back in march but then astra was taken out of the danish vaccine programme 3 weeks later together with J&J so all those ppl got 2. shot with pfizer. Here in Denmark we were told that the mix those ppl got was actually better protection against mutations than 2 shots with pfizer. Hope RCL changes their view about mixed vaccines soon or they will get a wave of new cancellations. 

2022 cruises are a long time away.  So much will change by April.  
No one knows what will be required in April.  By that point people will have been vaccinated with two doses of the same vaccine for more than one year. 
I'm not even going to suggest what that could mean because it's pointless to suggest anything.

It should be the same pricing, however you might need to tell Beth your state and C&A number. She also might be including something that you're not seeing or something like that. You can also send her a screenshot, you might be in a different category than she has or non-refundable deposit. Lots of factors, but the pricing should be the same (or lower if we have a group rate).
