  1. Add me to this list! I have the AZ and Moderna, a combination which is not considered vaccinated by the CDC and therefore RCL. We cancelled a cruise in Oct on Allure and our next is on Odyssey in Jan. Hoping that final payment is extended so we can get a better idea what rules and protocols will be and not end up in the Refund / FCC carousel again.
  2. We have cancelled our Oct sailing on Allure due to the fact Royal requires vaccination. We are fully vaccinated but our protocol does not follow what is allowed at this time by CDC / RCL. Hoping everything changes by Jan but not holding our breath.
  3. We have booked this cruise and hope to be able to see you all again!
  4. Given the latest changes where those considered unvaccinated and the fact that CDC and therefore RCL do not recognize Canadian vaccine protocols it is beginning to look less likely that we will be able to cruise in late October. This means flights and hotels to cancel in addition to the cruise itself which will thankfully fall under cruise with confidence. Now to figure out what else we might do with 10 days of vacation...
  5. This is among the sailings suspended by RCL in their post covid re-deployment
  6. We certainly do hope so. We fear they are just finalizing their rules for FCC vs Refund in the situation.
  7. This latest news about Vaccine Mixing has us now questionable for this. Just made final payment last week but may need to pull it if we don't have good answers.
  8. I hear you on the challenge of the pet sitter. Our pug is very high needs as she ages and so we have yet to sort that out. My biggest question now will be testing before returning to Canada. Need a negative PCR at the moment to fly home.
  9. Looking forward to this one, 9 night Southern Caribbean out of Miami. Schedule as follows: At Sea Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas Castries, St Lucia Bridgetown, Barbados St. Johns, Antigua At Sea At Sea
  10. @SpeedNoodles I'll take that blame. I'm hesitant in some ways to start these since cruising is still so up in the air for starting and we don't have our full vaccinations yet. We still have no clarity from the Canadian government on whether travel and return restrictions will be relaxed. That said, we are hoping to be on this sailing.
  11. We are booked on this sailing and hoping this is a go too.
  12. I can confirm that this is my experience too with an Allure sailing in 2021 vs. Odyssey in 2022.
  13. A bit more goofing around and I figured it out! I'm GEO BLOCKED! Select United States instead of Canada and I see the large banner ad for Adventure and lo and behold I can see Nassau under Caribbean departure ports. Hope this may help others.
  14. No joy here. Tried clearing content, incognito, etc. and do not see Nassau as departure port and no Adventure sailings prior to October (which is Galveston).
  15. Feel the same as @Lovetocruise2002 We have a sailing in October that we would love to be on but between the delays in vaccination and issues crossing the border and having to quarantine in government hotel or bypass that, pay fines and still isolate at home, it will be challenging. On top of it all there is a whole shaming culture developing over those who choose to travel even if they observe all the rules and do not endanger others.
  16. Could it be helpful to have a glossary of all the abbreviations used? I took a few minutes to figure out ATS... I knew it was a Suite since @Lovetocruise2002 was the person using it but I needed a minute to figure out what type.
  17. One other item that can affect your deposit is on-board bookings (oh what I wouldn't give to be on-board.....) They generally offer discounted deposits at NextCruise.
  18. Remove: March 26, 2020 Explorer Jan 22, 2021 Majesty Add: Oct 24, 2021 - Allure Jan 29, 2022 - Odyssey April 1, 2022 - Radiance
  19. @Matt is the best! One note from our personal experience is that the FCC was not reissued as such, but put back under the original reservation number. Here is our situation: fully paid ALASKA for June 2020 in March Alaska 2020 cancelled by RCL in March, Gratuity, Taxes and fees refunded (rec'd June) and FCC issued (rec'd May) used ALASKA FCC to pay for Oct 2020 Quebec to FL in May. Oct 2020 cruise cancelled by RCL in June. Oct 2020 DEPOSIT (Taxes, Fees, etc) refunded and rec'd in June At this point there was no news on FCC. Last week or TA reached out to RCL and asked and they said it was all taken care of in June and I was asked to check to see if we missed the refund which was not likely but I checked and confirmed we did not. TA reached out again and was informed that the FCC was reissued to the ALASKA reservation number. This was confirmed and we discovered we had been waiting for something that was already there.
  20. @twangster, yes all well appointed igloos have curtains. @Lovetocruise2002 try getting your genie on the next cruise to get you ketchup chips. The ultimate test!
