I too worry about things like that. Minimize the worry by using the Royal approved test.
Unfortunately we cannot get them in Canada.

Has anyone had experience where their test is not accepted when attempting to board? We have plans to test but with the variety of test ms available in just worrying that maybe I get all the way there and the decide they don’t like ours. It feels kind of irrational but still it is stuck in my brain.

First time cruising in 2 years and I cannot seem to get clear in my mind if we need to upload test results or just being them with me.
We sail April 3 and have completed check in with the exception of "Health & safety" which says we need to answer April 2.
Is that where we would do an upload?
Thanks in advance.

Has anyone tried the Switch Health tests from Air Canada for entry to US as well as boarding ship?
Curious to know your experiences.

Thanks everyone for the great information here!
Can you please tell me how long it took to receive your test kits once ordered and what shipping method was used?

We haven’t used at port, but a screenshot from our phones of the ONT vaccination with barcode and 3 doses was approved on app check in in 3 days.
fyi, I used booster date not second dose.

I think we are going to give it a go for Oasis 3/13 in a few weeks. Seems to be the easiest option.
You are looking to use for drive across border, correct?

The Switch Health / Aeroplan / telehealth is very interesting to me. Anyone planning to try this in the coming weeks? I would love to hear how it goes.

This is pretty good news. Means a much less expensive test for return home.
46 days and counting!

As a point of clarification while I know everyone talks about the PCR test being required for entry to Canada in particular, I believe that the NAAT is also permissible.
I am not sure the cost differences but it may be helpful to know all options.

They will. It's just a multi-step process. They just got all of the existing Harmony sailings in the system updated to reflect the new embarkation port.
Switching the individual reservations from Harmony to Wonder is a more manual process. Once they get each reservation switched over, they then need to also go back through and update the invoice side of things to adjust for the price protection, so don't panic if after the switch you see that you owe more than you originally thought. It should settle out correctly once everything gets updated.
Thanks! Our reservation shows Harmony from FL too. Will just need to be patient while they sort it out.

I just tried the VDS-NC app with my Ontario QR code and it was not recognized.

I have cancelled the following which still show on Master Cruise List:
Jan 22, 2022 Majesty
April 1, 2022 Radiance
I have the following booked, not on the list:
Dec 18, 2022 Harmony GC
Feb 3, 2023 Freedom
Feb 6, 2023 Freedom
-
Removed Jan 29 Odyssey
Added April 3 Odyssey
-
Add me to this list!
I have the AZ and Moderna, a combination which is not considered vaccinated by the CDC and therefore RCL.
We cancelled a cruise in Oct on Allure and our next is on Odyssey in Jan. Hoping that final payment is extended so we can get a better idea what rules and protocols will be and not end up in the Refund / FCC carousel again.

We have cancelled our Oct sailing on Allure due to the fact Royal requires vaccination. We are fully vaccinated but our protocol does not follow what is allowed at this time by CDC / RCL.
Hoping everything changes by Jan but not holding our breath.

We have booked this cruise and hope to be able to see you all again!

A bit more goofing around and I figured it out! I'm GEO BLOCKED!
Select United States instead of Canada and I see the large banner ad for Adventure and lo and behold I can see Nassau under Caribbean departure ports.
Hope this may help others.
Test not accepted when boarding?

Thanks everyone. I feel better that we have scheduled our tests at Shoppers here in Canada and that seems to be a common and proven from the replies. I'd just hate to get all the way to Fort Lauderdale and have trouble.
