We're on B2B April 30/May 7 sailings...wonder what the capacity will be. I'm with you....the thought of Hairspray not running isn't exactly breaking my heart!!
I anticipate we'll miss the spring break crowd, but it'll probably still be higher capacity. Either way, just happy to be back on board!

I enjoy fried cakes.

An alternate consideration could be purchasing a Thrill Island cabana - that way, you have a place to relax inside the park, the purchase I believe comes with waterpark access, and your kids will know where to find you through the day.

Is is possible? Yes.
Are there a lot of variables (delays at customs, delays at security, ship coming back in to port late, traffic) that could cause you to miss your flight? Absolutely.
YMMV, but there's a strong chance that this could bring a lot of stress at the end of a very relaxing vacation.

They haven’t done Hairspray musical for months.
I'm definitely fine with that one.

On symphony at present, 4000 pax with lots of little blessings aboard
Hi there! Scheduled to be on Symphony in about a month - any stray observations from on board?

Another option, if she’s the self motivated type - I’ve found the WiFi in the gyms good enough to stream workouts. There are plenty of free weights available, and the space used for classes is often empty. I’ve had no trouble setting up my iPad and doing an Apple Fitness plus or popsugar workout on my own on sea days.
As an iFit fan, this is really good to know. I could always set something up on the treadmill or bike, too.

They have a morning stretch class that is free and an abs class. I always skip the abs! I buy the pass to get the yoga class which I love. It is $20 a class, sea days only. It's my favorite part of the cruise. There is a spin class included with the pass, but at 60 I spin my butt out the exit:) There is a 3rd class, can't remember. Anyway, I found the pass cheaper than the $20 per class even though I only used a third of what it offers. After yoga, I'm high all day. Go for it!
Thanks for this feedback!!! Might have to check out a yoga class and see if it's something I'd want to buy a pass for in the future. The spin class price is CRAZY!

I'm also curious about this from others who have tried - I've been on a cycling and yoga kick lately and I like the idea of being able to attend these classes, but I don't want to invest the money up front if they won't ultimately be useful. On the other hand, maybe paying the money up front will force me to actually go! HA!

Odyssey does not have a Vitality Cafe, and I don't recall a designated spot for smoothies.

Sailing April 30th. Have 3 bids all pending. Anybody here yet get a bid accepted?
I know its a 3rd party company. I am hoping upon hope that my cabin is one they would be happy to give me an upgrade so they can sell it especially since we have lifted and shifted it since 2020 at the same price that we paid in 2019 when we booked it. JS ocean Balcony on the hump, mid deck 9.
They currently have at least 1 of each of our bids still available to book with 50 days to go.
I'm on your sailing - no bids accepted yet, with 4 placed by me. I'll be sure to report back here!

How do you check daily other than checking email to see if you won your Royal-up offer?
Navigate to this link and enter your last name and reservation number - https://www.royalcaribbean.com/booked/cruise-room-upgrade
What's typically seen as a positive sign that you're likely to win a bid is if:
1) all but one bid is listed as expired
2) that bid is no longer able to be modified

Thanks for the feedback, all! We wound up booking a tour that does a little of everything by way of open top vehicle (Skyride, Drake's Seat, & Magen's Bay), so will report back my findings once we return!
I actually realized this is probably the first tour we've booked directly through Royal in several years.

Part of what I really enjoyed about CK was not only was the food and service fantastic, but it was that we could dress pretty casually and feel comfortable without issue or concern of those around us. Really sold me on it being a major part of value with suites. I wore either an easy sundress or shorts and a nice t shirt with sandals, no issues.

Me too. We have bids for CLS, GS 1 BDRM and something else, can't recall....hubby did it. I think OS. It would be funny if you got my JS or we both got CLS.
I doubt our bid will be accepted. We placed it on Valentines day and now others are saying their start bid is 700 pp. The min back than was 250, and we went much higher, but I am not going 1400 tor a min to move from a US hump to a GS 1 bdrm.
I will stick with the Key and unlimited dining....taking my chance for CK dining at night.
Haha, yep. We'll see how it goes - good luck to you both! I'll be missing a JS this cruise for sure but the 3 night dining package will be nice. Really looking forward to this sailing - only a few more days until check in opens!

When are you sailing?
I am like you, we have a JS. Ocean on the hump deck 9 mid. I love the location, but CLSs bathroom in the master makes me drool....
April 30th!

I have three bids out going from my OV room on Symphony - Regular OV Balcony, Junior Suite, and CLS.
I'd be VERY happy with any of those (I mean, I'd also be perfectly happy in our OV on deck 8 nearby Central Park), but I'm REALLY hoping for that CLS (even with the price tag the upgrade carries - which I still feel is pretty reasonable going from an OV). Absolute dream cruise room - I'd never leave, and eat all meals in Coastal Kitchen.

We grabbed eggs benedict from the MDR before disembarking the ship last time, and then stopped for one last specialty coffee to carry off with us. Definitely a new disembarkation favorite.

+1 virgin Coco Loco's at Coco Cay! Another favorite mocktail of mine is ginger ale with mint and lime - super refreshing!
I also tend to drink lots of club soda with lime, or Pellegrino (often stashed and brought back to the room with me) through the day. Also, as has been mentioned, coconut lattes are definitely something I look forward to! Also make sure you take advantage of the fresh squeezed OJ during breakfast hours.
