I do too.  I don't know why they quit operating the fountain on some of the ships.  I always liked the look of the fountains going when the Rising Tide was "up".
I also happen to still enjoy the RTB.  I still think it's cool and I like being on it...except on Oasis and Allure where the chairs are SOOOOO uncomfortable.

I don't usually get involved with this kind of thread.  However, I would like to know what an autoimmune disease has to do with it.  I have been diagnosed with three  autoimmune disorders but none of them prohibit me from cruising.  I have all kinds of aches and pains but I answer "no" to that question on the health screening questionnaire.  I worry about getting an infection which might wreak havoc with my immune system because I'm immunocompromised.  In any case, Royal doesn't prohibit me from cruising and I wouldn't sue Royal if they did prohibit me. 

So far nothing is showing up on either.  I'll call on Monday.

Are you looking on the app or online ?  My experience is that the app is much less user-friendly for Cruise Planner purchases.  The CP certainly has its issues from time-to-time but overall I find it more useful for doing pre-cruise purchases.
You should definitely be able to look at things like dining, drink packages and excursions if your cruise is only 2 months from now.

IME food is basically the same on all ships.  Love it or hate it, the food is created from the same fleet standard recipes and fleet standard items.  Nearly all ships are supplied from the same warehouses supplied by the same food distributors in bulk.  
If the food doesn't work for you on Royal that is perfectly acceptable.  We all have different tastes.  Someone else may love the food I dislike.  Someone else may dislike the food I love.  That is fine, we are unique individuals.  
However to be perfectly honest and blunt the food quality has declined considerably on Royal over the past 18 months, for my personal tastes and I do now struggle at times on Royal when I did not three years ago.  As a result the number of my Royal cruises has declined and I am now sailing other lines on an increased basis.  No one who loves Royal's current state of food should feel insulted by my personal views, we are different unique individuals.  

From what I have read Samson has the best.   
 

Whether you celebrate Christmas/Yule or something/nothing else. I wish you and yours the very best. Here in Norway we celebrate on 24th (in the evening) with dinner and gifts, but many other European countries celebrate on the 25th. 23rd (tonight) is often marked with family/friends, tv and porridge + drinks. Since I am a 50% parent I get my kids tomorrow so today I am enjoying nuts, fruits and Harry Potter Movies. 
I am really happy to be a psrt of this community, you all (and especially @Matt ) have been a huge help already. 2024 marks my (2) first cruise(s) ever and I can not wait. 
Hope the next days are good for all of you, and as I have said before If you need any help/info about Norway (or UK, having a dad from Wales I am pretty well versed in UK too..) message me whenever. 
Being on a different timezone than most of you I am able to help at times others might be sleeping.

And I don't want to shame anyone, but rather just share the facts.  I know most people don't mean any harm.

I can tell you what sealed the deal for me. At the end of the snorkeling excursion we took a slow ride on the catamaran through a cove about 300 yards from where we were snorkeling and saw enough garbage and human feces to make you want to throw up. It’s apparent they empty raw sewage into the ocean as it was floating everywhere. Very nasty poop filled water. I’m just glad we were far enough away to not snorkel through it. 

Just walked off Wonder this morning after completing this same voyage (again). We had an awesome time at Nachi Cocom beach club in Cozumel and I recommend it (along with paradise beach). The pool at the end of the pier in Costa Maya is a destination. There were multiple dining options, massive pool and lots of shopping. I still haven’t ventured to Maya Chan but I’m also not a fan of mainland Mexico. The pool is an excellent place to spend a few hours especially if you have kids. IMHO Roatan is kind of dumpy but we enjoyed the Jolly Roger snorkeling on a catamaran. I haven’t really found anything else redeeming on that island and personally don’t want to pet monkeys or sloths while on vacation. The only downside to the Jolly Roger tour was the bus ride back and forth was not as efficient as a tour where the catamaran picks you up on the pier by the ship. Overall great experience though at all stops. Also, it looks like they are building a costa maya style pool destination at the Roatan port which might be ready.   

So we have 3 dogs.  For the 2 older ones, we have someone come stay at the house with them for the week.  The younger one does go to doggie daycare and we boarded her there.  She's had both canine influenza vaccines along with all her other vaccines.  Honestly, I felt totally comfortable leaving her there and I'm not too worried about her getting sick.  
I think I agree with everyone else, media hypes it up more than needed.  But I also understand how you feel because these are our babies!  Good luck and I hope it works out in your favor!

Family cruise with Hubby, BIL, SIL and a couple more!!

We were just there earlier this month (Nov 5th sailing on Wonder) and the tram driver said they are replacing the balloon with a new one. As for the tram change you mentioned, not sure about that. We took the tram to the Coco Beach Club and back. The only thing we did notice is that it was a somewhat long wait for the tram pickup. But it wasn't the end of the world....we were on vacation, after all!!

The Key USED to only be a couple of dollars more than internet but since demand has increased, I have not seen it lower than $40/day. I personally think those days of it being "worth" it are long gone. 

As someone who doesn't do Broadway (with a few exceptions) I was actually looking forward to Effectors 2 on Wonder and I agree it was pretty cool. We had ages 9-70+ with us and it kind of had a little something for everyone (a bit less so for my wife's parents but you get the idea). I'd like to see the 1st one but given my cruise habits it's highly unlikely we sail on Quantum class anytime soon. I'll settle for your review.

Everyone in my party loved Effectors on Odyssey, though not without a few criticisms. I am looking forward to Effectors 2 on Wonder, I loved the drones.
