@tonyfsu21 we were just in Roatan last Thursday (maybe, my days are messed up) with Wonder. I agree with you on Roatan but it does look like they're trying to improve the infrastructure and improve the port. It was also a very gray, rainy and overcast when we were there. We did the sloth/monkey thing but weren't able to do the glass bottom boat due to the weather. They took us to the chocolate store instead.

So we have 3 dogs. For the 2 older ones, we have someone come stay at the house with them for the week. The younger one does go to doggie daycare and we boarded her there. She's had both canine influenza vaccines along with all her other vaccines. Honestly, I felt totally comfortable leaving her there and I'm not too worried about her getting sick. I think I agree with everyone else, media hypes it up more than needed. But I also understand how you feel because these are our babies! Good luck and I hope it works out in your favor!

@Traveling Mike I'm so glad you're starting to get some rest and feel more human! We leave next Sunday on the Wonder for 7 days and as excited as I am, I understand that feeling of non-excitement. I keep thinking of all I need to get done before we even leave. It can become overwhelming, but the end result is totally worth it. Enjoy your time!

@Xaa IDK what cruise you're on, but WOW the price per guest for your DBP! It always amazes me the pricing difference between cruise ships. Ours is currently $98 per guest with the "sale" of buy one get one 50%. We actually got a better deal before the black Friday "sale". Alot like what @Ryan79say about the "sale" price! I've been paying more attention to the per guest price BEFORE the "sale"

I think with these "sales", it depends on the sailing, the ship, how far out the cruise is etc. I agree with you @OCSC Mike, not everything on our sailing had a deal. I don't think they give the same sale or discounts across the entire fleet but I'm not certain. We had a lunch reserved at Hooked when they did the Crown & Anchor sale, we ended up cancelling that yesterday to get a better price yesterday. We ended up saving about $75, which isn't too bad. But there were other things that had no sale price or the discount hadn't changed.

Repeating what everyone has said, these pictures are amazing!! Not sure what you're using to take these but they're great! Looking forward to seeing all of this in person December 3!!

Welcome! From my understanding (others have better answers than me), you can get specialty coffees at the Cafe Promenade. They will make lattes, flavored coffees, espressos, etc. Anything but Starbucks, Starbucks you will still need to pay extra for.

@Ampurp85, I thought about that after I posted! Clearly, I don't keep track of things as much as the more seasoned cruises.

@Gilley, YES!! Fries would be a great addition there! But I imagine it's easier for them to keep it simple without them. I loved the chicken/apple sausage I had when we were on Harmony last year...ooh and the sauerkraut!

@OnCloud9x, you can always look up the old cruise compasses on here. They should have some for the Icon, but they have enough other ones that should give you a good idea of when the shows usually start. At least with that information you should be able to plan your dinner reservations. And the dinner reservations have a wide variety of times, from 5pm to 9pm. Good luck and have fun!!

We've cruise during hurricane season a couple times. It was a little rocky but nothing of real concern. I think the only change to itinerary we had was we weren't able to go to Coco Cay and they swapped one of the ports and we went to Cozumel. Just relax and enjoy that you're on another cruise!!

I checked in for our cruise on the app last week. I was also able to check in my brother and sister-in-law. I went ahead and put in our passport information in and then they can go back later and put in their information. As crappy as the app can be, I think for checking in, the app is easier.

Well, we haven't stayed in a suite before, but we always order room service in the morning. It's breakfast before breakfast! Have a couple pastries, etc before heading to the WJ to finish up!

It's a great app...just wish it was the same across the board and didn't have the constant issues.

I have the same issue. I have the correct updated version, but I'm wondering if the iOS has more options.
