Hello fellow fans!  Now that I'm Diamond Plus, I don't purchase beverage packages anymore.  I use my freebies for the pricier drinks.   I get my (pretend) "specialty" coffee from the Diamond Lounge.  I bring my own Coke Zero and use a filter bottle for my drinking water.   What I haven't gotten myself to do is to bring my bottled Coke Zero to the MDR (or specialty dining) and just ask for ice.  Even if they'd allow it, I think it would be tacky ha ha

(Lots of folks may come here looking for info on testing requirements and might mistakenly think this means these free tests are accepted by Royal, or that Royal is giving out free tests, etc.)

I just read that it was announced that Harmony will be the first to visit Labadee in late Jan (27th I believe).  Yippee !

Ignore the percent off, it's meaningless.  The UDP is always less money if you buy it ahead of the time on the Cruise Planner.  If you want it, buy it now (before it sells  out, and it often does), and then just watch for price drops (actual price drops, not % - just look at the bottom-line price).
Typically you'll find it at $25-29 per person per day plus gratuities.

The only construction delay video I found was dated July of 2020. It would be interesting to know if the OP would let this site know the specific YouTube that referenced this rumor so we could actually check it out for ourselves.

I'd just like to also point out, wearing masks in that environment wasn't really gonna help out at all.  There was never going to be social distancing on that ship as that style cruise is not geared towards people distancing at all if you catch my drift.

Everyone already knew the omicron wave was going to be over before they got these things out.  They aren't going to be good for travel or any formal needs.  Just basically a test "so ya know".  Reliability is going to be questionable as well.  But, it could work to kind of give you an idea of what your status is before you spend money for a pre-cruise test for example.

My bid were saying all expired and pending for one. This was like that for 2wks and then I got my email and credit card charge 6 days before sailing. I went from interior to spacious panoramic overview for the min.

First time cruiser. Surprise for my 8yr old son and wife for her 40th birthday. Got a min bid upgrade to an Oceanview balcony from a central park view on the January 30 Allure of the Seas.

I had a terrible experience last week with the post cruise pier side test (it was not through Royal). The company partnered with the cruise line had a folding table setup in the parking lot, required us to swab ourselves, and 2.5 hours later (after promising 45 minute results) emailed us saying both our test were “inconclusive”. We got retested at the airport with rapid PCR and had our results quickly. I will not use pier side testing again. I would be willing to pay to have the test done on board but without that option I will pay the extra to test at the airport.

According to the vlogger, they are having difficulty getting materials needed to finish due to supply chain issues.

Royal could have settled against the auths they already had instead of creating 3 auths (2 during the week for partial amounts and then one at the end for the full amount).  The auths are 20 days old at this point and still show pending.  Normally this stuff just goes unnoticed by all but when your septic system blows up for Thanksgiving right after you paid off the cruise and you opt to hoard the cash for the plumber....and then you find 8k sitting tied up restricting you as basically ghost charges....it gets irritating

Yesterday I cancelled my long-awaited, twice-postponed transatlantic cruise in late April. It’s a shame because I had the ship, suite and itinerary that I really wanted…and at a great price. But, with all these bureaucrats constantly changing the rules based on their definition of ‘science’…I can’t take the risk of being quarantined, or worse, on another continent. I’ll stay closer to home until things get much better.

I thought the same at first, but it does appear to be legitimate. You can find more photos on various social platforms. And there definitely is an Atlantis cruise going on right now on Oasis.
