  1. I am super excited about all of the Black Friday savings for my two upcoming sailings.  I saved a bit on my Dec cruise on Harmony (cheaper Voom, soda package, water package and waterpark).  But I made out like a BANDIT on my June Ovation sailing.  I save about 200 after all the markdowns, and treated the family to the UDP with the savings and some onboard credit I had on that sailing.

For my sailing I went thorugh a site called curative www.curative.com. They partner at major sites throughout the united states. I was told by the testing center that I will be going to that they do open on christmas and christmas eve for limited hours. I do not know if its all sites on that do testing.

I've personally used Curative about five times for myself and my son (under 12).  Our local site does PCR testing and they are always easy to schedule, and the testing is typically back quickly.

We are on the November 21 st group cruise on Harmony, (next week) and was browsing the app a little while ago, and just noticed this in the notes of the excursion! I had booked it for my wife and 2 children under 12, long ago! I would just switch to a different excursion, because we do want to get off the boat and not leave the kids on the boat, but with it being so close to sailing almost all are sold out! I have not been notified at all by RC. Is this saying they are not allowing anyone unvaccinated or that they need to be tested 48 hours prior? the wording is a little conflicting!

They are not allowing unvaccinated persons. May be best to cancel and have a ship day.

  4. Port changes are always possible on any cruise.  Things may change due to weather, volcanoes erupting, ports no longer taking unvaccinated passengers, and so many other reasons.  Cruising is not for the inflexible.  If you are heartbroken over the change, cancel your trip.  Otherwise, enjoy going somewhere you have never been.  I personally love Costa Maya and there are some fabulous beaches there.

My final payment is due Feb 13 but my check in date is Jan 27.  I believe, because final pmt for cruises through March 2022 is due only 30 days prior, check in does open first & you can check in before you make final payment.

I checked in last week (at 45 days). Final payment for our cruise is 30 days out (Nov. 19).  So yes, you can check in before final payment.

Here is the fleet guide for entertainment:

These are the core shows that don’t change very often.  The other acts as @wordell1 mentioned will rotate between ships.  Entertainers like comedians change very frequently.  Others like pub singers may stay for a month or more.

Thanks as always @twangster bot for the helpful info

duuuuuude! Once upon a time, I was in an Amtrak station in some Texan town and I wanted water so I went to the Deja Blue vending machine and got some....and it came in a can....and it continues to be the weirdest thing I think I've ever seen. I expected carbonation when I popped the top but there wasn't any and something about it out of metal was weird and I just hated everything about it. Lol. So...I get you.

Just came here to agree with that. Lol

@CrimsonCruiser I feel the same way about the tinny taste.  I will be forever grateful that our upcoming Harmony cruise has the Evian bottled water package and not the horrid tin cans of water.  If that was my only choice I'd just drink the RO water and bring a refillable bottle.

    Hi All!

I have a cruise booked on Anthem for June.  I'm in a solo cabin.  If I take one more cruise before that then I'll be Diamond by that point.  Is it worth it to get bumped up to Diamond?  Should I make the ultimate sacrifice and "force" myself on a 7 day cruise to get the status? lol

    It's a 14 day cruise.

The Diamond drinks are very, very tempting.  I say go for it.  The "ultimate" sacrifice.

Wife and I have been AI Resort folks...took our first cruise on Freedom last month, just a 3 nighter to CocoCay...We'll be back...Actually looking at bringing the teens on that same cruise in January as a Christmas present and also a 7 nighter in July!!  😎

I was hooked from my first cruise, and never wanted to take anything less than 7 days!  I have taken a weekend cruise since then.  I am just so sad to leave the relaxation of the ship when it's a short cruise.  Enjoy!
