My take is different, I'm vaccinated so I'm not worried if the person next to me is or isn't. If you aren't and you get sick, I don't want to hear your whining ... you made a choice.

In new reports the CDC mention that after 1st dose it reduces the risk by 80% and that after 2nd dose the risk involved is reduced by 90% ..so in other words there is still a 10% risk of transmitting virus to someone else. 
The risk involved to children is apparently a lot less however children are not immune for virus and as reported in Feb this year the figure for child mortality in US due to covid is round about 250...
So as a parent or grandparent whats more important your childs saftey or your comfort? 
Theres no debate to this and anyone who tries to justify putting their or anyone else's children at risk doesnt .......will stop here as i would probably be banned for what i really want to say

I will never tip the cabana attendant in advance again.  We were on Labadee in a cabana a few years ago.  We thought it would be easier to tip the attendant up front in case we got busy and forgot later or decided to leave and couldn't find him.  We gave him $20 at the beginning of the day and never saw him again.  Won't make that mistake again !

The art auction goes without saying but for me it was not getting off the ship/visiting CocoCay.
I have been on quite a few cruises but my first one with RCG I went with a complainer who didn't want to do anything and whined when I tried to leave her alone. We never left the ship and was always in our room by 10:30. My next cruise I plan to get off at every port, stay up later and enjoy as much as possible.??

So the CDC is the BIG BAD Wolf that they are huffing and puffing that they can't control US land vacations, so they have to pick on the American Cruise lines basing their ships in a foreign country to get around paying taxes, no other reason in my OPINION, since we all have read what they plan on doing on the ships!  These cruise lines probably have more procedures in place then the airlines, airports and resorts do!!!!  And great, "they are controlling what they can " more Government Control in our country, God Help Us!  Thanks for your opinion. ?

Watch out for that complimentary food. Last time I was at Cococay the hamburgers told me "Eat all you want, you look skinny. I won't make you fat". Their compliments were all lies. ?

Well said!!  I would add a number 3 and state that we Americans have let the younger generation been trained to stop thinking for themselves, and common sense is extremely un-common.   I do not know how other countries  are but I really think this is true here in the States.

A fact?  What is a lot?  How can a "fact" be based on a subjective term like "a lot"?   I will agree that there are always people out there that take the extreme view on almost everything, but to say it is "a fact" that "a lot"...  show me your numbers, and sources.  Facts can be back up with number not just your feelings.

So you can speak for all the people who decided to not take the vaccine.  Are you a psychic and know why these peope are not taking it?   
Please stick to the facts.  If you do not know why then do not make blanket statements based on nothing!

This will be my last post on this topic.  It's no surprise that feelings run deep, and I'd rather focus on things that bring us together.
I think we can all be happy about the following:
1. The death rates have been far, far lower than the original forecasts
2. The vaccines mean the end is probably in sight
3. We will all be sailing again in the future!

600,000+ have died from heart disease in 2020.  Approximately 300,000 have died of COVID.  I suppose it is possible that an additional 300,000 will die in the next 32 hours, but I doubt it.

BTW, doesn't this support the point that the controls (i.e. masking, social distancing, lockdowns, etc.) are as ineffective as a medicine man doing a dance?
