More cruises is better than less cruises, IMHO.  There is plenty of outdoor space I can lounge and enjoy the water.  

Currently doing two cruises a year! If the second cruise was free they could put me in the Solarium and I would be happy!?

Actually, this is a difficult question for me. Solo, sure, all day long. With my wife, we really enjoy the balcony, we relax and enjoy each other, so it gets a bit more difficult to say 2 insides vs 1 balcony.
So, think I'd rather have that one, extended, relaxing experience with my wife with our own slice of the ocean and if we can swing it (assuming we can cause it is about $1000 difference or so) take a few long weekend land trips.

Assuming that time off is not a factor, I would take 2 cruises in inside cabins per year. More C&A points.

We just got off. I expect that all issues have been resolved and everything will be “smooth sailing” from now on. I think we may have been just a tad late getting to port but everything went great with disembarkation.  I don’t recall Port Liberty having facial recognition last year but it was in place today and we breezed off the ship without even stopping.  It was really an easy disembark.  Everything on the ship operated normally. There seem to be zero issues related to last week’s problems. I would expect a normal boarding and cruise.
 
I wasn’t too thrilled with the 18 degree weather that greeted us but not much you can do about that in NJ in Feb !  Because it was so cold we decided to just grab a taxi to the airport rather than standing around outside in the cold waiting for an Uber to show up.  UUUGE mistake.  $73. Our Uber ride over was $18.80.  Now I see why nobody takes a taxi anymore. How do they even stay in business ?  I guess they catch the few country suckers like us !
 
 We had an awesome (even if abbreviated) cruise and we are SO glad we went.  It was basically a free cruise for us. They refunded waaay more to us than we expected (more than 50% of our cruise fare, for sure) and our FCC (also more than we expected)  has already been applied to our Oct 11 2020 Brilliance cruise. The reduced crowds (often a problem on Anthem) made walking on the Esplanade and waiting for elevators so much better. Our chance meetings with Yen made it especially enjoyable.

Ok, first, if you're reading a forum where people are shaming other people, leave that forum.  That's unnecessary.  We don't do that here. There's no reason for you to feel badly about a cruise like that. 
$50 is plenty because it truly is on top of what is expected.  If you WANT to leave more, that's fine - if you want to leave less, there's nothing wrong with that either.  I've left less, I've left more, depending on my particular room steward.  

I brought two Coke Zeroes and two bottles of wine on my last cruise, but Matt is right you can bring 10!

You are allowed 10 bottles of non-alcoholic beverages per stateroom, in addition to the two bottles of wine per stateroom.
So you could bring water or soda, but not 24 total.

I had my reservation transferred to MEI, even after the "cutoff" date, MEI made it happen. I have already been repriced twice, without me asking, my agent just emailed me with the good news, saving me about $700 so far. Still have 4 months to go before final payment, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for more repricing.

Not very light packers so we usually have a large roller and a folding garment suitcase and sometimes a mid size roller that I leave the the porters, we always have a small carry on and electronics/camera backpack that stays with us.  Boarding the ship I hand them off to the porters and give them $1-2 per bag; once I used a porter help me thru customs and out to the rental car shuttle so I gave him $20.  As Matt said that $20 was the best money I've spent. 

Unless you're a light packer you'll be lugging around your luggage until rooms open up (2pm or so). Porter service is technically free but a tip is STRONGLY recommended.
I tip about $5 for both of us. 2 large rollers & 1 thin cheap garment bag.

$30?! I pay $1-2 per bag. So unless you are travelling with the Brady Bunch, you should be paying $5-$10 on embarkation day and then again on disembarkation day.
I'm telling you, best money I spend!

I saw the video and there is no way this man thought the window was closed, he leaned out of the window for a few seconds before he even picked her up, he also lifted her up and over the railing.   This is most definitely a tragedy that he is only making worse by lying.

Short answer...NO
Long answer... points are only awarded to individuals who spend time on the ship, if they end up being solo, based on cabin type mentioned above..they will be awarded 2 points per nite and those registered for a certain cabin can be moved provided that one person that was on the original registration remain in that room.

Shoved off right on time at 3:00 on the dot. The Captain took us for a harbor tour around the Statue of Liberty and lower Manhattan.  The weather completely sucked but it was still a really nice trip.  I had heard that they did this from time-to-time, but had never been lucky enough to have it happen for us.

Royal is geared to appeal to families across the spectrum from the young to the young at heart.  There is always a lot going on around a Royal ship.  Royal also trends to larger ships where Celebrity operates a smaller fleet.  You won't find any Quantum or Oasis class sized ships in the Celebrity fleet.  
Celebrity is more an adult cruise line, more refined but not in the luxury high end market.  No bumper cars, zip lines, ice skating rinks, water slides, sky pads, laser tag, flowriders, iFly indoor sky diving, etc. on Celebrity.  
That's not to say kids are not welcome on Celebrity but there isn't the space and activities dedicated to them like there is on Royal so you tend to see fewer kids on Celebrity.  It won't be zero kids but not as many as Royal. 
I enjoy Royal even if I don't do all the activities because it keeps me young.  Celebrity is there for me if I ever grow up and mature.
