  1. No dining with anyone outside of your party as defined by your reservation.
  2. Again, this is an issue of government regulation, not any decision by the cruise line. The ridiculousness of it is summed up by your statement that you will just book an all inclusive. The government, in its misguided judgment, sees the 2 vacations differently and regulates one, but not the other. If this type of intrusion into your life isn't welcome, just remember it on election day.
  3. I'll be on Oasis on Black Friday - maybe I should camp out in front of next cruise to get the full black friday experience.
  4. The rule is for unvaccinated, not an age range - we could potentially see vaccinated 5 year olds as early as 5 weeks from the day the shots start.
  5. Its a CDC rule, not a Royal Caribbean rule. Other cruise lines are doing the same thing with unvaccinated guests. You can cancel and rebook for a later date if you don't like the protocols. I'm not a fan of the CDC protocols, but the cruise lines have no choice but to follow them.
  6. I don't see any excursions listed for Galveston in my March 22 Liberty cruise planner. They may have straight transfers available.
  7. Make sure your reservations are "linked" in the system for dining(your TA can do this - or you need to call Royal). There are some rules about separate parties eating together and having them linked will everything easier.
  8. Your situation is not normal, and not what the attendants are there for. I think its on you to tell the others that they aren't welcome. If they come anyway, and you politely ask them to leave, that is when you would call for the attendants/security.
  9. Its either Cafe Promenade or room service before 7am, unless you have access to the Diamond or Suite lounges.
  10. Prayers for both of you, I hope you both get over this really quickly. We are 19 days out and this is what I will be worrying about for the next few weeks. We are trying to be extra careful, but we all are around others at work/school - taking the test will be highly stressful.
  11. Is the suite concierge able to make show reservations pre cruise?
  12. Water and iced tea plus coffee available in the windjammer and at other restaurants. Everything else is extra.
  13. On St Maarten, I wouldn't be concerned about booking a private tour, or just grabbing a taxi to get to where you want to go. Just make sure that you have a watch (not your phone) and set it to "ship time" which may not be local time. Make sure to allow at least an extra hour to get back. Companies like Bernards Tours will ensure you are back in plenty of time - their business depends on it.
  14. At least up until recently, AO is requiring appointments, severely limiting numbers, and enforcing social distance between kids while there. I would be very surprised if they were doing that. I would have low expectations on Adventure Ocean based on reports I have seen.
  15. You can skip ahead to the time and then come back to fill in any missing info.
  16. You could also look at other Freedom class ships. Liberty is currently doing 7 night cruises out of Galveston.
  17. I'll add @Mattsince this involves one of the site sponsors. He may have contacts. I also use MEI and am sure it will get resolved.
  18. The current protocols only allow for official Royal Caribbean excursions. That is official through November and could change after that. He could also get vaccinated before the cruise - depending on when it is.
  19. No advantages to paying early, except I supposed the peace of mind to know its already paid for.
  20. My wife and I really liked the Switched On Band - they were on Adventure over the summer. They were on Oasis recently and I am hoping that they are still on in a few weeks for our Thanksgiving cruise.
  21. You should get 100% in a FCC. I would start by pricing out cruises that you may want to use the credit on - how much extra you may need to pay is always a consideration. I am definitely a person who likes to plan my own excursions but this would not be a deal breaker for me. Plan a morning excursion, and then come back and relax by the pool.
  22. Coco Cay is a big place, you will have plenty of space even if both ships are full. I personally don't think the beach club is worth much more than $79 - $99 dollars. The meal is really good and the beach is nice, but its not that big of a step up from the rest of Coco Cay.
