I checked in for my June cruise and found the same thing @twangstermentioned.  The only choice was for a passport.

Just checked in for a June round trip cruise from Florida and the only option for document was passport.

My November Liberty cruise has drink packages at $43/day with this sale - lowest I have seen in a loooonnnnggg time. So of course I booked it. 

The one on the bottom left (presumably, Norm) looks like Pat from the old Saturday Night Live episodes !

My wife and mother both had their second shot on this past Thursday morning. One Pfizer, one Moderna. Neither had anything more than a slightly sore arm and red injection sight for about 18-24 hours. Reactions seem to be all over the place. 

Are you seeing these "good" prices on bigger ships - O class - or just the smaller ships ?

No way am I paying those prices for a mask wearing “contactless” experience. 
 
If the ship is a 100% vaccinated zone, there is no need for the masks and the no contact measures. 

Really, I don't think this was a real gamble.  If the cruise sails, YIPPEE !!!  If it doesn't then you either get all of your money back or you make 25% on your investment to put towards another cruise or you get to move this cruise to next year.  I think you're a winner !!

Just grabbed Harmony of the Seas for Dec 18, 2022 - we missed going to Costa Maya, Roatan, and Cozumel last November, so I'm stoked about this!!   AND I got my room on Deck 14 near the entrance to the Solarium.
I'm not sure how thrilled the wife is, but I'm happy!

I've been to Fort Lauderdale twice in my life...once in Jan 2020 for a Royal Caribbean cruise and once in Feb 1983.  In 1983 we did a sightseeing cruise on the Jungle Queen.

We will not get a vaccine unless forced to and we will never ever get the mRNA vaccine under any circumstances.  We're waiting it out...

A small ship with 1k guests probably can't come close to turn a profit at 50% capacity.  At that point it probably would be cheaper to keep the ship in layup. 
That's one benefit that mega ships have.  At 50% capacity a mega ship has enough critical mass to break even with 3k guests on board.  

I imagine this has become a greater sought after characteristic that will influence many would be Masters.
Some "old guard" Masters had the personality of a rock.  They were great mariners but lacked what cruise lines require which is different from what a cargo, container or tanker Master must possess.  
I think in general as the old guard retire off we will see more engaging ship Masters move up.  An active social media persona will likely become a requirement too.

The notion that money can't buy the vaccine before the masses around the world get the shot is noble but not realistic.  Rant all you want but rest assured private companies around the world are getting their hands on the vaccine.
