    Boarded Symphony today and rooms were not ready until 2pm. We “tried” several times to get access but was directed away each time. 

    We had 1pm check in time. Showed up at 1230 and was able to get checked in immediately (JS stateroom). Made it through and onboard by 1245.

    It's a fair question, and the only answer I have is you could buy it and hope that email a few days before you sail.  Make a reminder to cancel 2-3 days before your cruise in case you don't get it or don't like the email.

    That happened with us too. Best part about The Key IMO. Didn't stress about showing up to any show or rushing through dinner to get there early enough for good seats. Every major resort has pay for exclusivity perks. Disney has Fast Pass, Universal has Express Pass, Delta has Sky Priority... I think RCI is missing a major opportunity to promote The Key in a similar fashion without this perk.

    Thank you for this question - the system we use is great at tracking fares, but LOTS of things factor into the tracker we use too. did you get booked into one of our group rates, do you have a current OBC that will drop if we adjust the fare, are you looking at non-refundable rates online, but you book refundable deposit rates, is the system working correctly to adjust??? (issue lately) and so forth.    I work in tandem with my clients and if they see rate drops, I look at them that day they email - sometimes we have to figure it out together and yes, sometimes the system does flag me of a drop, but the system does not grab things like you booked refundable vs non-refundable that is a big one>   

    Clients are never "bugging me" to ask about prices, but it can take me all day to look into if, cause I may be on the phone trying to get a refund due that is taking 5 months !

    Our team values every client - this system flags when a sale happens mostly - so if Royal announces a new sale it does sweep but it does not do it all in one day it does it over the course of the sale.

    I'm sorry you are having a hard time, and that shouldn't happen. Sometimes a client will contact me before I will check, and then I try and check it right away. But sometimes it just isn't possible to do it quickly. Sometimes you have to call it in and that takes forever. 
    Basically you should be able to communicate with your agent properly, and if that isn't happening you should ask for a new agent assignment. Every client is important, it could be that the agent was dealing with something and couldn't check those other reservations right that minute. 
    If you'd like to switch agents email [email protected] and they'll reassign you to someone else.

    Bummer they didn't bring back the reserved seating benefit. On our last cruise, the reserved seating went largely unused even with The Key benefit and having a ship full of suite guests. Hopefully there are opportunities for adjustment! It was a nice way to bridge the gap between Sea Class and Sky Class perks.

    I think your cabin class, whether or not you would use room service/internet, and whether one of your port itineraries includes a tender should really be the primary considerations.  
    Personally, I thought the Chops embarkation meal in the MDR was not as nice as the meal is when actually in Chops. I would LOVE no cost room service as I am an early riser while my spouse is not. I would love to enjoy a full service breakfast on my balcony without having to go to the WJ (does anyone else hate walking back to their room with food...? all uncovered... and then someone always makes a comment about your breakfast... lol... like... mind yo business... this is for TWO people <-- clearly still holding onto trauma) 

    We always use the internet, and on larger ships, the priority tender / saved seats at events can definitely make you feel like Sky/Star class without booking that level of suite. Without the saved seats at events, The Key just doesn't seem worth it.

    We cruised on Oasis in 2015. CATS only played the first 2 nights (that’s not normal right...? We heard something happened and they canceled the rest of the shows). We were lucky enough to have seen the show, but admittedly, I wasn’t a huge fan of the show. (The performers were ridiculously talented... I just didn’t care so much for the show). 
     
    They brought in an ABBA cover band (I think was called ABBA Caddabra)... that show was unforgettable. It STILL is our favorite show we have seen anywhere. They had the entire Opal Theater singing, and dancing... it was unbelievable.

    Lunch has arrived!  One could get used to this. Lobster and filet on a floating cabana in the Caribbean. Two ships here and doesn’t seem crowded with the low passenger loads. I walked the island taking pictures. It’s such a beautiful place. Plenty of room on the cabana for 10 1/2 of us. Actually 11 1/2 - Jack Daniels showed up a bit ago.

    Maybe Star Class is better than Twangster Class.

    THIS! Long term assisted living was the first nursing job I got out of school... average cost PER DAY in an assisted living is about $130. I think I would rather do this!

    After several months there could be some new couples on board.  
    I guess it wouldn’t be a good cruise to fool around.  273 days for an angry husband to track you down.  It would just be a process of elimination.
