I booked my airfare for a Celebrity cruise just before everything went crazy.  I'm very pleased.  I got a great price, 2 checked bags, and it is refundable up until 90 prior to departure. (In fact, payment isn't even required until 90 days in advance).
If you got a cruise coming up, I'd suggest calling the air 2 sea people and see what happens.

I've been trying to figure out why nobody, including Royal, sails a 7 night New Zealand cruise.  Why doesn't someone sail out of Auckland, hit New Zealand ports and return to Auckland.  Is there a reason that all of the cruises sail several days to reach Australia?

Liberty of the Seas, Jan 2017. I took my family on a cruise to the Western Caribbean.  We were blown away by the ship and had a spectacular time.  
Close second: Radiance of the Seas June 2006. My in-laws took the whole family to Alaska.  Incredible!

My first thought is for the crew members.  I don't see how they get home. Being stuck on board a luxury cruise ship seems infinitely preferable to being stuck in a strange country!
As far as your reading on the schedule, I agree it will complicate things.  On the other hand, they would probably need to change the crews before restarting anyway.  The crews on the ships have been on there for quite a while!
That said, I've always felt the 28 day hiatus was optimistic.  60 feels more probable to me.

This video here of Chris the Oasis crew member is an indication to me RCI doesn't think cruises will start when the 30 days is up. Number 1, why send a very healthy crew home and into a messy world? How are these people going to even get home because flights to countries all over the world is going to be difficult? How are they going to get crew replacements to the ship when they need them for the same reason? This move to me tells me cruises are starting for quite a while. June/July but to me July is more realistic. What do you think and am I overreacting? Sometimes I need someone elses take to read between the lines. I'm not the best at that. Here is the video.
 

I really don't think bankruptcy of Royal, Carnival or Disney is likely.  If it does happen (to them or someone else) the customers would be at the end of the line of creditors, and would have a very weak "legal" claim to a refund.
However, the company would probably reorganize out of bankruptcy or be sold.  Either way, the court, and creditors, would probably see value in keeping the customer base happy and would honor your tickets and other purchases.  

I seriously doubt rcl goes bankrupt. They have a bunch of financial levers available and a good bit of cash. 
You could make the case that the dividend isn't safe, but I'm taking that chance.

My wife also bought an extra long cord for her machine. 10 bucks on Amazon.  Made it so much more convenient 

I understand the ill passengers did not have Coronavirus and everyone has been released from the ship

They set me up with flights for my upcoming New Zealand/Australia cruise. 
The airfare was less than I was seeing on Travelocity and fully refundable!  They even got me direct flights in and out of Houston!
I'm astounded! What a deal!

Back to the original point of this post.  We don't have any new info on the ship itself.
Do we know where it will be based?  I've heard that the Florida ports are resisting LNG fuel. Any thoughts on how that might affect deployment?

I'm on rhapsody right now and it's been pretty rough. I've been out in bigger seas, but that was on a bigger boat too.
I'd suggest bringing ginger pills with you. You can find them in the vitamin isle at Walmart.  They're cheap and my daughter swears by them.

Liberty didn't have one when I was on it a year ago.

Thanks to both KristiZ and ChessE4!  I'm planning a trip in November and will make it a point to use local currency.

Captain said rhapsody can't overcome a crosswind of more than 25 mph when docking. Wind was 30 so they had to skip.
We got close enough that I could see liberty and a Holland America ship had the two big births tied up. 
It's been a rough and windy 2 days back to Tampa. 

I'm on Rhapsody of the seas, which is Vision class, right now. I really enjoy the more personal service and slower pace of this class ship. However, if you're looking for a more active vacation, I'd stick with the bigger ships. There's just more for the kids to do.

I booked connecting rooms at the nextcruise desk.
Have you tried travelocity? I find that they have a better website. 
Other than that,  I'd say call or use a travel agent.

I just stopped by next cruise and can confirm that jewel will be in Galveston December 2020 for a few months at least. They even gave me a price on January 2, 2021 9 day sailing.  I asked about March and they had it laid out but not finalized. 

I did it once for dad's 90th birthday. 
 
The crew saw the shirts and went out of their way to make a big deal about it. Dad ate it up!
 
Dad passed 6 months later, but I'm so glad we were able to fulfill his bucket list dream of cruising and the shirts/crew made it extra special
