Roll your clothes when packing if possible instead of folding...  and downy wrinkle release spray when you unpack.  Steam in bathroom can help some too. 
You can make DIY wrinkle release spray too. It's basically watered down fabric softener.  Just google search and some instructions should pop up. 

I believe that you were misinformed by the casino rep.  I would recommend that you call C&A and ask for an audit.  They did one on the phone with me a while back.  I found them to be very forthcoming about conversions from the "old" process.

I remember seeing them put out the bags on Independence a few years back going across the Bay of Biscay.
It was a very rough crossing and the ship rocked a good bit. For me it was grand, it was late at night and I had (quite) a few drinks in me so was actually able to walk in a straight line :)

Currently on Symphony, we’ve had beautiful weather today, but the ship has been vibrating here and there ....... seems to be getting a lot more bouncy and rocky tonight and they have barf bags up all over now.  I hope we have good weather for Cococay tomorrow.
 
 

If you go into Mahaual, you can get a very inexpensive massage right on the beach.  We have always paid $20 for an hour but they always try and get you to pay more. Just insist that you will not pay more and then give them a nice tip.
Do NOT let anyone “find” or “arrange” a massage for you.  Find your own masseuse.  If you let someone help you, they will double the price and keep half for themselves.  It’s easy to find a masseuse. Their tables are set up all along the beach. 

Some of the shops sell them in a spice bottle along side the bottles of vanilla but we have not found them to be fresh.  I did not find any fresh beans in the grocery store which is where we usually buy our vanilla now because it is so much cheaper.  No one cares how much you bring back.  We tend to bring a lot back as gifts.  Often I will bring back quart bottles for my baker friends.
 

Day 6 Disembarkation dAY ?
 
We’re back baby!!  Our 20 month old/Alarm clock got us up before 7AM as usual and even though we put our luggage out the night before we still had four tote sized carry-ons and his stroller. Good thing he’s heavy enough that we just drape all of them on the handles and hope for the best.  Off to the WJ for one last stuffing!!  Petar was ‘Johnny on the spot’ with Z’s banana. Best crew member experience ever!!
 
We have never disembarked this early so I/we have never had to follow the number system to get off.  Typically our number has already been called for sometime and we just leave when we are ready. TODAY was different. Galveston ships disembark later for some reason, CCL too.  We were luggage tag 5 at a time of 9:10 am.  1 started at 8:30am I’m pretty sure. After breakfast, we ended up in the theater until Zander was out of control…so when they called 3 we just left.  No questions asked we disembarked, found out luggage, and got in line with others in this weird system of lines. You line up in number rows (line 1 being for porters) we picked line 3.  Then your were shuffled to the other side of a wall into another set of lines. We were now in line 6 ….IDK Whatever…lol  Custom was one question “ and food’ with you…and off we went. THEN as we approached the exit a group of custom agents asked if we had purchased any alcohol or tobacco. TEXAS’s TABC want their Tax money!! The only alcohol we had was the two bottles of wine we brought on….and brought back off unopened.  We said nope and kept walking.  Oh… and my R Bar Texas Tea purchase was taxed in port on day one.
 
Backing up,  Not sure if I mentioned this in Day 1’s blog. After security check point the agent asked.  “is that two bottles of wine in your carry on”….yes, it was. They asked us to bring it “over there” to that table….I’m not 100% sure why ,but I shook my head and walked with the rest of the crowd right past them.  Pfft, I ain’t got no time for that!!  Texas is very weird about their alcohol tax and I thought they were going to look for their tax stamp (my wine was bought at a winery in Clermont Fl). My loving wife said they probably wanted to make sure it was sealed?  Either way It was odd to me.  Maybe they wanted the corking fee?? 
 
OK, ship to sidewalk to shuttle to car and back to terminal to pick up wife and Z 45 minutes.  Car (2013 Mustang GT California Special Convertible) was perfect, as I left it. Hotel Galvez free parking  Worth it $$. Harbor House Hotel night before is a must. The Strand for dinner and a stroll is a must also   The port is real good. People have complained about it but the only thing is it needs updating…The exit is a long trek down a  almost dirt roads though a warehouse areas (think Journey’s Separate Ways video from 1984ish). Not the best signage either to fine Interstate 45 (the only way out) toward Houston.  A stop at Buc-eez and lunch at What-A-Burger and we were home before 2pm in San Antonio.

We really did have a great time, and I was forearmed against so many mistakes/ wastes of time because of the advice from you great people! I did want to just let everyone know a couple of things we learned on this trip, some of which I've seen others ask about. 
Izumi To-Go: On our Nassau port day, Izumi was open for lunch. We didn't get a reservation - were told they weren't really needed for lunch and that Jamie's would be open that day instead. BUT we were able to get Izumi to-go. I've seen folks ask about that and wanted to just share. It took about 20 minutes, and they gave us a bag filled with $65 worth of sushi and appetizers which we ate in the Viking Crown Lounge next door. They didn't seem bothered about it at all and we made sure to tip and say thank you to the waiter for helping.
We had an Ultimate Dining Package and were determined to get the most out of it. It was purchased for $69/pp and never dipped lower. We ate Chops lunch embarkation day, Hooked Night 1, Izumi Night 2, and Chops Night 3. I really wanted to try Jamie's Italian and when we asked they said it would be open on our Nassau port day. It wasn't, Izumi was. But at least I'll have another restaurant to look forward to next time. I don't know how to go about confirming which specialty restaurant will be open on the Nassau port day, but that would be good information for someone to find out! ?
Playmakers and others: On this Navigator sailing, RCCL charged then credited back our food purchased from Playmakers. Multiple people told us they would so I was ready to fight the charge if need be ?They wouldn't do the same at The Bamboo Room. One of the people who told us about Playmakers also told us the package would work on Captain Jacks at CoCo Cay, though we didn't try that out. Also, they DID charge me for Johnny Rockets. I'm going to try calling and disputing this since everything said it was included, but we'll see how it goes.
Slides: If you want to try the slides aboard ship, go early! We got there fairly early on the Nassau day but apparently not enough. The line, especially for The Blaster (tube slide) was not quick. Once I got to the top I realized the lifeguards were waiting to set people up/ talk to them/ go over safety rules until after the guards at the bottom gave them the all clear signal. As a former lifeguard at a water park, they could really speed that up if they just blocked the slide with their bodies and did it all while the previous riders were getting out. We went about halfway up the tower before hitting the line and it still was about a 25 minute wait. The other mat slide had a shorter line and went slightly quicker.
CoCo Cay: I've been to Labadee but never to CoCo Cay. It was wonderful! They were still putting up a few new trees and the existing ones were a little burnt from Dorian but everything else was really top notch. We spent most of the day at Chill Island with a stop at Oasis Lagoon just to check it out. There were plenty of open loungers at the beach but not nearly as many at Oasis Lagoon. Really there were plenty but also a lot of seat saving. I was curious and may try this next time I'm going; there were a couple of cabanas at Chill Island open but ALL of the day beds were empty. Anyone have experience just going to the excursions desk and making an offer to them? They were asking $199 for day beds before our cruise and I would've happily paid $99 for the day. Just a thought.

One of the people who told us about Playmakers also told us the package would work on Captain Jacks at CoCo Cay, though we didn't try that out. Also, they DID charge me for Johnny Rockets. I'm going to try calling and disputing this since everything said it was included, but we'll see how it goes.
Slides: If you want to try the slides aboard ship, go early! We got there fairly early on the Nassau day but apparently not enough. The line, especially for The Blaster (tube slide) was not quick. Once I got to the top I realized the lifeguards were waiting to set people up/ talk to them/ go over safety rules until after the guards at the bottom gave them the all clear signal. As a former lifeguard at a water park, they could really speed that up if they just blocked the slide with their bodies and did it all while the previous riders were getting out. We went about halfway up the tower before hitting the line and it still was about a 25 minute wait. The other mat slide had a shorter line and went slightly quicker.
CoCo Cay: I've been to Labadee but never to CoCo Cay. It was wonderful! They were still putting up a few new trees and the existing ones were a little burnt from Dorian but everything else was really top notch. We spent most of the day at Chill Island with a stop at Oasis Lagoon just to check it out. There were plenty of open loungers at the beach but not nearly as many at Oasis Lagoon. Really there were plenty but also a lot of seat saving. I was curious and may try this next time I'm going; there were a couple of cabanas at Chill Island open but ALL of the day beds were empty. Anyone have experience just going to the excursions desk and making an offer to them? They were asking $199 for day beds before our cruise and I would've happily paid $99 for the day. Just a thought.

That's really helpful, all I can say is look out Johnny Rockets im coming for ya.

All sorts of things! There's a great splash pad with some slides the kids would still probably enjoy. The largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean. Chill Island which is just a great beach experience. By the time you're there, they will also have South Beach open. They're planning on having tailgate games and sports courts there. Some of the exercise classes will be free as well. I'm certain there's a more comprehensive list somewhere but this gives you an idea ?

Someone on one of my Facebook groups is on Empress and posted this letter about a Bahamas aid drop..thought it was prettt cool to get the passengers to write notes for the hurricane victims.

@monorailmedic  CruiseHabit was live from Equinox which is also on site sending supplies today.  You can see the tenders being lowered and a local tug coming out to the ship.
