Dan Curtis
Just received an email from Royal that the cruise leaving Saturday will change itenary from a day at sea Monday to take supplies to,Grand Bahamas. Royal is really doing as much as they can to help, out. I don't mind missing a sea day in an effort to help so many people that need support at this time. CruiseGus
yes Royal for the past years has seemed to have a very active relief effort especially noticed in the Caribbean. My complements to the management. Hoski
Matt
That's great. Mariner and Navigator doing the same this weekend. Hoski
Momof4crazytocruise
RCL forever has my loyalty for this most excellent humanitarian (and publicity) effort! Good on them! Hoski
KJones
Out of curiosity, are cruise passengers allowed to leave the ship while it's unloading supplies? Does it become an additional port day? Or something in between a sea day (since not technically at sea) and a port day (at a port, but can't explore it)? I think they are anchored and boats come to pick up supplies or they are tendering them out. Hoski
twangster
@monorailmedic CruiseHabit was live from Equinox which is also on site sending supplies today. You can see the tenders being lowered and a local tug coming out to the ship. Hoski, Ken23, Ala_Paul and 1 other 1
