  1. Drinking my tea, almost spitting it out as I got to " chill garbage disposal" OMG that to me was hysterical.

I felt the same about the Intense Show. I felt the production did the ladies wrong, like our thing is all ladies so they gave up on the actual show. Intense yes, but I also did not enjoy the crazy loud sound track if you can call it that.

I hope you see and enjoy Effectors 2. That was something I enjoyed a great deal on that ship. I hope your throat feels better!

  2. Is there any truth to the capacity for this sailing? I read somewhere it's at 80%. If that's true it will be amazing. Lots of kiddos in school as well. I'm thinking this is the sailing to be on, have the best time!

I think it is super smart for Royal to release this beautiful family friendly ship this time of year, I can't imagine a summer release. This way any tweaks can be addressed before the summer crowd pounces!!

  3. I would go right to guest services and show them your finger, kindly say this occurred to me on the pool deck ( or where ever on ship) and say you really feel it needs some type of attention. Explain they were busy, you understand but if someone could check it out before it gets much worse you would appreciate it. Have a piece of paper with you with every time you tried contact, kindly refer to it.... This should get you at least entry, I would be shocked if it didn't work. Good luck, feel better.

    * take a photo of it also, just in case you do have to wait until tomorrow, especially if it gets worse.

  4. Great info, I'm still digging into this today. I'm just having difficulty as for example it says trip cancelation for "covered reasons" well I look everywhere for these covered reasons which I can't locate, Google, FAQ on website etc. I won't purchase something until I know all of the specifics, not sure why it's so hard.

I just want to make sure I do my due diligence before purchasing. Why so secretive?

Thanks for the property insurance tip as well.

  5. @OCSC Mike yes, we interacted with Kenny much more. It looked like Noorena was working with the Genies and Stars. But, when Kenny was MIA one day, she was welcoming. I agree that at least on my sailing we did see Kenny working the room where she was at the desk. Different styles I guess but when I needed her she was great! On the quiet side was my thought.

I also wonder if there will be 3 concierges moving forward? I think that would be prudent with the addition of the Sky Juniors and the Pinnacle numbers that avail themselves to that earned amenity....yes, 3 seems the way to move forward.

  6. Thank you everyone who responded. I'm thinking of waiting until final payment for our first sailing and get it then, just roll it into the cost of the sailing, get it and forget it. One last question with the annual policy, start date should be embarkation day of first sailing? It looks like you can schedule when to start. Thank you all again for sharing your experiences. Here's hoping we never need it!

  7. Yay, Noorina Streenebus was our concierge  (one of two on the Wonder) she is very sweet, and very capable. The concierge desk always had people at it and she excelled at her work. Always kind, you are in good hands with her. She helped me get the C and A tier numbers on my trip. I asked and she punched into her computer, turned the screen and the total breakdown was there. Our #CK server who we had every night, so gracious and forward thinking should also be onboard as he said he was jumping over to Icon. I think a great many of that CK team will be there. They were pretty outstanding, right @OCSC Mike ?

I am excited for you all! Fingers and toes crossed for @Lovetocruise2002 RUB also!

  8. I started sailing in 2016, 2019 with Royal. I had never once considered insurance because I thought it was not fiscally prudent. Fast forward to now I'm thinking our luck is bound to run out & I don't want to financially ruin us IF one of us became ill etc. We drive to port so never worry about flights but at our advanced age....I just would feel better. 2024 comes with 3 sailings and I want to make a prudent choice, so can you help a girl out?

    Thanks again everyone!

  9. Christmas & Birthday combined sailing! Hubby & kiddo did this, they wanted to visit Bermuda! Yay, a surprise sailing. They booked an Owners Suite on this ship, we would just have sailed the Adventure in the Royal Suite in June 2024. This sailing it's all about the itinerary once again. To say I was surprised was an under statement. We had a busy Holiday Season so as soon as I realized (while super impressed) I think they booked it at a fair price I called @Sharla. I was still in the booking window to transfer to her...I feel much better now!

Just the 3 of us with college starting 26 August 2024 it will truly be our last sailing for some time.  We are getting some great news pertaining to merit based scholarships so I think that was a huge sway for Cabash/Vintage Magnet. Still stunned, feeling blessed.

Anyone else on this one? It's Labadee, Haiti; Sea Day, Overnight (2 days Bermuda), Sea Day, Perfect Day/CocoCay-Return PC.

  10. I'm so happy you LOVE CK! We only sailed the Odyssey as that class of ship and we had the exact opposite experience. It was dark and some staff "aloof" while others did not want to be there. I also prefer the suite lounge in the same venue, not aft where it is located. Different strokes, right?

Kiddo loved the Ifly, we have some amazing pictures on the wall from that.

I loved the bumper cars, I squealed with laughter and joy every time I went after and crashed into someone. That was a great time.

I will say when we were in CK there was a family who had reservations the same time as us every night and they brought their dog to dine. It was foul and disgusting. The woman strapped it to her chest (it wasn't that small) and fed it off the table. They were Star class and the Genie as well as the staff fawned over the situation. Just left a bad taste if you will. This was December 2021 I believe. She brought it to and made a play area in the poor excuse for a suite only sundeck area as well. It's a tiny area as it is and that situation made it even smaller. Have they addressed the suites sun deck area or is it still a tiny row of loungers?

I'm so happy you guys are having the best time. You are my hero, 3 Next Cruise Certificates, woo-hoo!

  11. Celebrity will be in our future, thanks so much for this incredible review. My question pertains to the MDR, several restaurants to choose from is it a MTD situation and you choose every night? DO you choose ahead of time? I don't mind the same time every night but I would experience big FOMO if I was only experiencing the same MDR every evening. How does one navigate this?

I really hope you feel better soon!

Happy New Year & again thanks for taking us along, she is a gorgeous ship!

  12. @WAAAYTOOO & @SweetPea do you believe we have always sailed with zero insurance? Mr. Cabash always put a big no on it, but now I'm taking a stand!! We are not getting any younger and all of these medical mishaps have convinced me, no more. I just researched an annual Allianz policy that even covers transportation. I am going to purchase it before our June sailing & tell him when he see's the bill, I am convinced more now then ever it is something that is non negotiable moving forward. Thanks for helping me see the light!

Our Adventure sailing isn't until June 7, 2024 but I am living for and loving on all these live reports, keep them coming & thank you in advance!!
