And the money made is not spent in the US but in the crews home countries.  You MUST take this into account if you are throwing around terms like "slave wages"

Hypothetical scenario:  Young TONYFSU21 is given the opportunity to go to Dubai and work as house staff for a wealthy family.  They promise you at the end of your 9 month commitment, they will send you home with the same amount of money that it would take 2 years to make at home in the USA.
Would you consider these slave wages, simply because the family could afford to pay you more, or are you incredibly grateful to be 12-15 months ahead financially and sign up for another contract?
Judging by the vast number of returning crew members, if you are honest with yourself, the answer is the latter. You aren't staying in Dubai, so why make that your barometer?

I’ve never seen soldiers with AR-15s on a beach in Mexico (and I am in Mexico ALOT)

Because corporate is part of the "everybody gets a trophy" culture. If a "10" is acceptable and a "9" is a failure, just make it a series of "yes/no" questions.
"Was the food perfect? Yes or No?" and "Was the itinerary perfect? Yes or No?" would very quickly become "Was the food acceptable? Yes or No?" and "Was the itinerary okay? Yes or No?" because they wouldn't like the answers about perfection.

Mama Mia alone makes it the best Oasis class ship.

Good luck, and I hope it all works out.

hey @TXcruzer @OCSC Mike Thank you for looking into my question. Yes agree it has too many nuances. thus not able to find a answer with hours of google search. And RC customer service said - passport need 6 months validity (plain vanilla reply), without even asking if US citizen or not.
Somewhat similar question asked/answered last year, and it worked out. Though that is for a totally different location.

I'm assuming she will be OK to get back into the US, since CBP let her come in the first place.  This is because India is on the list of countries that the US doesn't require 6-month passport validity:  Six-Month Passport Validity Update (cbp.gov).

Unfortunately this is par for the course; they seem to stand hard by the “your age on boarding is your age for the journey” rule.
One of my children turned 21 mid journey several years ago, and there was absolutely no way, no how, they would allow her to purchase a drink on board. So I bought them, and hand delivered them to her.

X is changing the “all included” offering and tips won’t be included after October 4- seems RCG is trying to level the field a bit.

You end up being part of the reason the next set of cruisers have to endure a lower level of service then.
I take this posture.  I don't have to say anything, but if I say something, it needs to be the truth.

Sooooo $43.99 for our April Icon. I bought it BUT if the previous sailings say it’s Jersey Shore and nothing but 18-25 year olds….I’ll be cancelling. Figure it’s a one and done because my October Utopia has it for $70.99.

It’s like now they’re trying to get the Virgin passengers. How about catering to the passengers that made you who you are? The ones who put on damn masks and sailed your ships when you were sinking and still sinking in debt.

Be very careful Royal because a lot of people who swore they were “Loyal to Royal” are starting to raise eyebrows and considering the competitors who will match status.

I know a lot of people on this board say that they would never pay Disney prices, but having looked at both the new Royal ships and the new Disney ships and prices are not far off. And Disney includes a lot more onboard than Royal does. Adult beach is included at Castaway Cay.

I hope they leave Allure alone, I like the ship as is.
It is so easy to forget what the original Oasis of the Seas was like prior to her amplification that is until you get on Allure. I for one enjoy the contrast having that one Oasis Class ship that stands alone and is representative of the original class of ship design.  For those who want all the toys and slides they can choose from 5 other Oasis Class ships and for those who want an Oasis Class experience on the original design they have Allure.
Royal leave Allure as is.  Do not amplify this ship, the ship is great just as it is in its original design.
